Don't want to sound pessimistic but I had my SOS module changed TWICE under warranty, once in 2023 and second time one month ago. My car is MY2021 with only 35k. Both times the navigation was messed up, stacked on different location and then it solved by it's own. Tried everything from fake SOS call, disconnect the battery but nothing helped. In the end, they changed the module and claimed that they had the latest software for the Module updated.

Hi everyone, I recently downloaded the latest navigation maps using the official Škoda update site, based on my VIN. I followed the instructions, copied the files to a USB, and plugged it into my car (Octavia Mk4, MIB3 Columbus system). After driving for about 20 minutes, I checked Settings > System Information, and I can now see the Navigation Database version is 25.6. My previous version was 22.10, so it looks like the update installed successfully. However, I'm a bit confused – visually, the maps appear to be exactly the same. For example: A new roundabout built last year near my area is still missing Several newly added streets are also not shown This makes me wonder: Is it possible that the update is still installing or applying in the background, even after the version number changed? Has anyone else experienced something similar – version updated but map content didn’t actually change? Would really appreciate any insight from someone who has dealt with this before.
