2025 Super L&K - Canton Ses Sitemi
Go to Halfords or your local car hi-fi shop and bang in some Blaupunkts. Powered sub box in the boot, sorted. Who is best? Blur or Oasis? I like Moby.

Rear dash cam power, ignition only supply.
I would suggest a very simple option would be a normal but small dashcam, powered from the 12V socket on the LH side. Depends how much of a stickler for hidden cables you are. The socket is ignition only. If already blown, it’s fuse is behind the glovebox. All dashcams come with a cig-lighter plug lead as well as hard wire kits.

Seat ventilation?
It does seem a very bad idea if it’s deliberately programmed in. Possibly its there if someone nips in and drives off while the owner is standing near the unlocked car with engine running, or pulls you out Grand Theft Auto style.

Ghost speed limits
This used to happen in my Merc. I did wonder if it was reading the max speed signs on the rear of lorry trailers asI passed.

Rear dash cam power, ignition only supply.
Do you mean a stand alone rear camera? Most usually are powered from the main front camera.

Seat ventilation?
But why? It would seem to make things enormously difficult, having to reach back each time. There's even a receptacle in the centre console cup holder, with a key graphic.

Random choice of MP3 track
Flac??? Wow, that IS dedication to the cause of sound quality. Interesting that the MK3 did it though. What the chuffin' 'ell has happened?

Seat ventilation?
Why would you drive with the key on the back seat? Do you not have pockets?

Random choice of MP3 track
Thanks. Though that might work for you, I'd like to play tracks from my phone. I find Spotify will collate music for the user, rather than just an album or tracks randomly. Plus in my locale, there are big areas with no mobile coverage, so it doesn't connect well. Every other car I've had (with bluetooth) has worked fine. They just play random tracks from my phone. I started to consider if returning to a USB stick would work, but that's the very first post here, saying that doesn't work. I wish I'd kept my Pioneer 6CD changer now and put it in the boot.

Random choice of MP3 track
I’m finding the same trouble. Having struggled to get it to play an actual album from my iPhone’s Music app, once I leave the car and return, it then plays tracks from my phone’s whole library in alphabetical order. Selecting the randomiser only works for one track. Every other modern car I’ve had can do this with no hassles but it seems the software writers at Skoda have never listened to music before.

Real world range from hybrid battery?
My previous car was a PHEV with about 55 miles pure battery range. We tended to do very short journeys in and out of town, with an occasional cross country trip of 250+ miles. Needing a big car, those sort of trips were ideal for a PHEV. Its kinda what they are designed for. I wouldn’t want the stress of long journeys with a full electric. My car before that was a 3 litre diesel XJ and those trips were killing it. I was draining the engine every 4 months as it filled up with unburnt diesel. That’s one set of circumstances where a Phev is ideal

USB-C cable for Nextbase dashcam
No, I don’t think I would want to tinker about in there. I might have misunderstood your post then. When you routed into the roof/mirror housing, I presume that was just a way of hiding the cable better on it’s route to the fusebox in the glovebox.

USB-C cable for Nextbase dashcam
Thread resurrection! Does that mean there is a point to hardwire into, in the mirror housing?

“Towbar Preparation “
I’m a-pondering now whether to go for a simple, dumb towbar, with detachable hook. The sort of thing I can install myself. The only thing I need it for is a HD bike rack that I already own, and it would be driving very local, within 10 or 12 miles, to go cycling with my wife. I’ve only seen a police car in this village or the roads nearby, once in 25years. Doubtless I’ll get nicked within 200 yards if I do.

Glovebox removal for fuses Mk4 superb iV 2025
I’ve just done this too. Nothing is ever as simple as a manual suggests. In my car, there are two fixed plastic “runners” in the dash, top of the glovebox opening, whilst the box itself has two fixed circular “knobs”. Use a large flat screwdriver to push the glovebox side INWARDS , not outwards as the manual shows. Unless you’re Chuck Norris or two separate gorillas, you cannot just “squeeze” the sides of the glovebox. Be careful on the inner side as the damper slider thing is there. Annoying design to access the fuse panel. Why not have a panel at the end of the dash, or in the boot?

Playing Shuffle tracks from bluetooth iPhone
I mean of course, random tracks from my phone, not shuffle dance or jumpstyle. It won’t do it. If I select the shuffle icon, it will play a randomised track when the current song ends, but then revert to alphabetical list. Doesn’t matter if I do it via the phone or the screen. However, away from the car, it works fine on my phone. I’ve deleted, rebooted, repaired etc, to no avail. Any help appreciated.

“Towbar Preparation “
Neither really right now. I was just looking to see what was there, according to the sales blurb description. Best case scenario would have been me just having to buy the towhook itself and slotting it in. Worst case is that just the bit of trim has been removed and there’s nothing else there. Which seems to be the case. I’d rather have the trim back on right now.

“Towbar Preparation “
Thanks. Presumably that bit of loom there.

“Towbar Preparation “
Hi all Thought I’d steam in with a first question within 1 week of ownership. The dealer’s (Arnold Clark Linwood, Paisley) blurb said “Towbar Preparation “. Presuming that’s not some sort of ointment, what exactly is it? I took photos underneath and to my untrained and somewhat cynical eye, it looks like it just means a panel has been removed. Is there anything useful there?

Hello from West Coast Argyll
Hi Just joined. Picked up my first ever Skoda last Friday. A Superb 1.5 SE L e-tec. Very pleased. Better than the last one I was ever in, which was a Rapide in 1984.
