  1. See now we are talking. But how does that match up with the comment from @Evolution13 about the switch to be removed from my model year? I don't understand why it should be that, just to still be installed if wanted to use
  2. Well, found out why now. Seems the relay 484 is missing, together with the wiring... So I'll either have to find a wiring diagram, find the wires, install relay 484 or get it into a service workshop and pay for it. Anyone got a wiring diagram for the DRL in Fabia II 5J ?
  3. @Evolution13 You have any more guesses? Still looking for the solution, and enabling DRL in the BCM in byte 23 bit 6, just error 31
  4. Well, just found out why. Seems the wire was broken somewhere between the trunk and the slot. So we daisy changed the wire from the left side to the right side and now it worked. Will have to check the correct wire sometime during the summer as it looks like the fog light isn't turning on as well, which is wired.
  5. Ahh sorry. Denmark, left hand drive. I guess there could be differences of course.
  6. Well, that makes sense why it isn't physically there, even though the slot is there. Also looks to make sense why VCDS can see monitor that RDL is "not active" rather than "not installed" (the mid row)
  7. Well, essentially it is everything on pin 5, so all normal lights that is normally associated with the right side
  8. Right now, only on the left side... could be some broken wiring, but the issue is that I'm not sure how this is wired, if is is original, then I was hoping there would be some great documentation about it, if it is DIY, then I would have to dig into the car, but right now: position light: only works on left side. Brake: both sites. Blinkers: both sites.
  9. So I'm planning to replace my current stock steering wheel with the a 3 spoke leather steering wheel with buttons (MFSW). Now, I know that the cabling is done through the Airbag, so that should be in the new Steering wheel as well, but I read that the slip ring could have an impact as well, if it supports MFSW or only cruise control ( to add, I do have cruise control arm). Furthermore, are there any limits onto which steering wheel from which models I can use? Or is it just as long it is the same connector? My current steering wheel: Slip ring: Connector:
  10. So I have a situation where all my "running" lights on the right side of my trailer (looking from the back) isn't working. Originally I thought it would be the connector at the car, sink replaced it with a 13 pole connector, no change. I found that there might be a computer somewhere, or does anyone else have a guess?
  11. Soo, I have just gotten my hand on a Fabia MkII from 2014. Some things here and there that I want to change. However, the first thing is that I have noticed that my running daylights aren't working, and can't seem to figure it out. I do have them in the bottom of the car, right beside the fog lights, but they aren't turning on. Checked the fuses, not blown, checked the computer with VCDS, found them, cannot remember the byte right now, enabled them, no change. After a while I found that there should be a switch at the fuses, don't have that! Is it true that I may have the lights, but cannot use them as the switch isn't there??
