Many thanks for your reply. I have ordered a pair of the compatible Bosch ones from Amazon. I’ll keep them in reserve and see how the OEM ones perform to start with. I don’t think my new model actually has a rear wiper at all, from what I can see of the spec, which is a shame, as it helps visibility in very wet motorway driving. On the plus side, it does tend to give the dog a bit of a jump scare if travelling in the boot on the old one, as it makes a racket when it first wipes the rear screen🫣.

I’m taking delivery of my new superb estate SE L Iv next week. I may just go ahead and get some replacement Bosch wipers as a backup based on all the wiper complaints I’m reading. Any recommendations as to where to order them from? I’m in London, UK. Thanks in advance for the help.

I have a 2016 Superb Estate SEL Executive and definitely received warnings when the fob battery was running low. Haven’t had to replace it more than s couple of times over the last ten years but am a fairly low mileage driver.

Hello there, I finally traded in my beloved 2016 Superb Estate for an SE L IV 1.5 Tsi, (with sunroof, family pack and winter pack (for my arthritic hands which weren’t an issue in 2016 (the car has aged better than me!) Ordered in London in mid April I I was told today car has just been built, and I should receive it some time in July. My first Phev Hoping there won’t be too many delays🙏 Really looking forward to my new car, although will be sad to say goodbye to the old one…. best car I ever had. All the best to everyone Ben
