Silencing the loud spoken traffic congestion warnings
I think it is the Traffication app, if I am not mistaken. You can check your settings in Traffication to disable the sound or even the entire notification.

New Superb wipers leaving a hazy/milky film after rain – anyone else?
In Romania, for the Superb Sedan\Liftback, you can choose the rear wiper for an extra cost, so it's not included by default.

How do I save the settings?
The driving mode emphasizes eco-friendliness rather than safety. It resets itself to prevent the use of modes that harm the environment (sport, individual, etc.). It would have been smarter not to reset it if the driving mode is ECO. However, Skoda kept the implementation simple by resetting to normal regardless of the last driving mode. :|

This is the quality ... nothing’s broken with your car :). I got used to it after a while.- Has anyone else found the new Driver Monitoring System on the Mk4 Superb to be overly sensitive?
Indeed, this is a relatively new EU requirement, and new cars have a camera in the rearview mirror to monitor the driver's attention.- Has anyone else found the new Driver Monitoring System on the Mk4 Superb to be overly sensitive?
Same version, 2763. Today, I did a 2-minute demo of the service during a drive (no assist, ACC, TA, lane assist, no glasses, nothing), and I received the warning 6 times. 6!! No doubt, there's a problem with the eye-tracking camera or other sensors involved in deciding whether to show the warning.- Has anyone else found the new Driver Monitoring System on the Mk4 Superb to be overly sensitive?
Today I drove around 150 km on the motorway using ACC/Travel Assist, and I received the “Pay attention to the road” warning roughly 20 times. What concerns me most is that while some warnings might be expected if I briefly glance away, others occurred unexpectedly, even when I was clearly looking ahead at the road. The behavior is similar regardless of whether I’m wearing sunglasses or not, so I don’t think that’s the main factor. At this point, it’s becoming more distracting than helpful. I’m trying to understand whether: This is normal behavior on the new Superb, Other owners have experienced the same, or whether my car might need a calibration or software update. Car details: 2026 Škoda Superb L&K Is your experience similar?- New Superb wipers leaving a hazy/milky film after rain – anyone else?
The Tiguan ones were just fine. I bought my Tiguan in 2019 and replaced the wipers four years later. All good. Besides that, I already swapped the OEM wipers on the Skoda for Bosch ones. They seem much better, but I’ll wait for the rain to give a final opinion. Thanks to everyone who responded.- New Superb wipers leaving a hazy/milky film after rain – anyone else?
Thanks for the reply. Glad to hear that the Bosch wipers are better; they’re on my shopping list.- New Superb wipers leaving a hazy/milky film after rain – anyone else?
Superb L&K - May, 2026 After driving in the rain and using the wipers for a while, I’ve noticed two strange things: Once the rain stops and the wipers stop running, a hazy/milky-looking area appears along the lower part of the windshield (on the outside). It looks almost like fog, but it’s definitely on the exterior. If I run the wipers again, it disappears, but after they stop, it gradually comes back, then fades away on its own after a few minutes. While the wipers are operating, they sometimes leave very thin water films in certain areas rather than completely clearing the glass. It’s not heavy streaking—just fine patches of water that remain briefly. The car is almost brand new (1.5 months old), with the original OEM windshield and wiper blades. I haven’t applied any glass coatings such as Rain-X or Gyeon. Has anyone seen something similar? Was it caused by contamination on the windshield, residue from the new wiper blades, or did it require replacing the blades? One more thing I’ve noticed: overall, I’m not particularly impressed with the OEM wiper blades. Compared to previous cars I’ve owned, this one doesn’t seem to wipe the glass as cleanly and occasionally leaves very fine water films behind. It makes me wonder whether this is just how the factory blades are, or if mine are an exception. Has anyone else had the same impression? If you’ve replaced the factory blades, which aftermarket brand or model would you recommend for noticeable improvements in wiping performance and overall quality?- New Superb L&K – Driver seat delivered with wrinkles on the seat base. Normal or warranty issue?
@jtypecav Did they get worse over time? I don't know what to expect in a few years.- New Superb L&K – Driver seat delivered with wrinkles on the seat base. Normal or warranty issue?
@Evolution13 - I kind of accepted the car :). It's been with me since May 21st. It's my fault that I didn't mention it when I picked up the car from the dealer, but, in my defense, I had no prior experience with leather seats, so I thought it was just a temporary issue. Well, it's not... Regarding your note about warm conditions, the car is parked underground, and the temperature is around 20 degrees. It went outside only a few nights. I noticed, though, that the problem wasn't as obvious after 2 days of sitting in the hot weather outside. Wondering if controlled heating of the chair would solve the issue. - Superb IV Reversing Camera Image Quality
