  1. Good price, if I was down South I would have them for my Corrado, no problem. Would you consider shipping them? about £30 with Paisley freight plus some carboard to protect the fronts. I would of course pay for the postage.
  2. Yep, Andrew sorted me out. I was sceptical of boxes but this one is ace, car drives very well and pulls and pulls
  3. Haha well I am looking for a car to do the twin town challenge in but it would be a shame to race this and the rules are max £500 for the car!
  4. Hey GLWS mate, I only say this as I'm into the Scirroco/Corrado scene and I keep my eye on the cars that come up for sale. I've had 3 Scirrocos and 4 Corrados......I wish I'd learn and stop buying them
  5. I got one of the CRD-T units installed on my MK7 Golf 2.0 GT BM a couple of weeks back, which has the newer 150bhp engine. Their office is just down the road from me so I was able to "try before I buy" Coming from a long line of "properly mapped" high performance petrol Skodas (my 340bhp MK1 Octy and my Shark stage 2 TSI OCty 2) I wasn't expecting it to deliver as much of a gain as a remap but the result feels very good. Massive dollop of extra torque and pulls much more freely to about 4500-5K when it runs out of puff as is usual with Diesels. On Map 4+1 it goes very well indeed and I just wanted to know what map other people are running on these engines? Cheers Ron
  6. Being honest mate, £895 for a carb model is pushing it. A good Scala is about that price.
  7. Price slashed as I need the space......£30 delivered!
  8. Hi Guys, Sorry for not updating this thread (Cheers Chris for giving me a nudge), I got some offers almost as soon a the ad went up. Roof bars are sold and the grille, disks, oil filter are potentially sold pending collection on Saturday morning. Cheers Ron
  9. Hi Guys, The roof bars fit straight onto the car, they don't use the roof runners. The big rubber feet clamp onto the frame above the doors and locate into the little hole at the to of the door frame. No extra parts needed, they go straight on. Regarding the disks, yep all vrs are the same. Sorry no discounts at this point as haven't been on sale long. Pus postage on these is the killer cost as they weigh a ton! Cheers Ron
  10. I have a golf GTi mk4 5dr carpet in pretty mint condition. I bought it for my mk1 vrs octy as my White carpet was minging. Came from a car with just over 50k on the clock and has been in storage since 2009. This is a direct fit into the Octy mk1 £50 delivered!
  11. Few bits left over after the sale of my octy vrs mk2 (face lift) Facelift grille surround painted in Magic Black, good condition and fits all facelift mk2 models. Grille costs £70 new from the dealer plus painting costs so this is a bargain at £50 delivered Set of of Thule roof bars for mk2 octy, not sure of the model but pics attached below. Good nick and include locking keys etc £60 delivered Genuine vrs/TSI oil filter, £10 from the dealers. Doing for £8 delivered to your door Pair of brand new high quality Pagid front brake disks for vrs, 312mm, cost £80 new.....£55 delivered Thanks Ron
  12. Hi folks, Yesterday a brisky member confirmed that he's having this and so it's reserved until payment in received later this week. I'll update the post if things change. It always seems to be the case that you get no emails and then 3 at once I think this exhaust would also fit other 5 platform cars aside from the back box, on the golf (which is shorter) the exhaust comes over the axel and then is mounted sideways, parallel with the rear bumper. I think the Leon is similar to the Octy in that the back box is short and mounted straight.
  13. Deposit taken from another Brisky member so it should be staying in the club For the guys that emailed me last night and today, thanks for your interest.
  14. Hi, just the extras listed in the ad. Newcastle upon Tyne is correct. Cheers Ron
  15. No, it is just a standard DV for a TFSI/TSI, they cost £36+Vat and so this one is brand new and £10 less and comes with postage.
  16. Finally had a chance to take some interior pics! I am off on holiday from mid next week and then it is going in the trader the week after......get the bargain Brisky price while you can as it will be on at £8995
