Hi. Did this solve your problem and which part no did you need for the feed line, was it easy to fit?

Yes, that solved the problem. I bought this: https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/3q0131984ac-ad-blue-line-front-skoda-39383.html

It took two hours and the most problematic part was at the back I wanted to avoid taking down the fuel tank so it was very tight but it worked. Tape the new one to the old one and pull from behind. Good if you are two people in certain moments.

Thanks for a great guide! I have had problems with my right navigation wheel for a long time and opened the wheel up a couple of days ago and cleaned it. In my case it wasn't enough, one/some of the six solder points had come loose so I had to re-solder them so now it works again almost completely without problems, at least much better than before!

Hello everybody I am experiencing problems with the right small wheel on the steering wheel. The small wheel that scrolls in the menu of the Maxidot display. Some days it works flawlessly, but some days it doesn't register at all that you are spinning the wheel. Either if anyone knows if it can be repaired or if that part needs to be replaced what is the part number for the part?

There are numerous versions which all look pretty similar depending on DSG/manual, backlight colour and if the wheel is heated.

The part number will depend on which variant it is :)

Ok that’s what I thought. I have to remove and take a look before ordering. Anyone who has a guide or video on how to get this of?

My response was to the OP and the topic title.

I cannot help you regarding Germany.

I tried to look and find out if it was a belt or chain and if you've read the whole thread you know that I couldn't even find the engine code sticker on the car. If you don't have anything good to say
I've owned 5 Skodas since mid 90's and this last one is the only car that doesn't write out service intervals. Now I know and have printed those from erwin Skoda but I think it's a shame that I have to do that to know what my car needs.

Does anyone know what intervals are now being specified in Germany, Ireland and other European countries?   I believe they were once different.  I am at 5 years and 48K miles and it just feels a bit soon to be replacing cambelts and water pumps.  That is just a hunch though - not base on any technical reasoning.

I went in to a shop to get a price om timing belt and waterpump replacement and he looked att the service intervals on computer and told me that the interval on my car is 210000 km and no time limit.

  7. I own a Skoda Superb mk3 year 2016 with engine 3v5. I bought it used and I can't find any info in service plan on ahat interval Cambelt should be replaced. None of the earlier services that the previous owners made included cambelt. That makes me think that this car har a timing chain instead. Where can I find info ablout this?

  8. Thanks! Not easy to search not knowing what type it is.

I put in my vin-number and downloaded a new map and the logos for radiostation all fine! But on "Other software" it says: "There were no software updates for the VIN."

I'll search here on the forum for more info about updating.

  9. I'm looking to get a used Skoda Superb mk3, since I've had mk1 and mk2 so it's time for a newer one I think.

I were test driving a car this weekend from 2017 and it seemed that the only way to use CarPlay was thrue USB-cable. I found this article: https://www.skoda-storyboard.com/en/press-releases/wireless-data-flow-from-smartphone-skoda-presents-wireless-mirrorlink/

As I'm scouting the web for my new (used) car before I test drive, how can I tell if it has wireless CarPlay? Or it hasn't been a reality yet? If, from what build date or is it a specific infotainment model?

  10. Just wanna say that I had the problem that the wiper got stuck after a couple of wipes. Removed and opened the motor and found dry grease that I think made it hard to turn. Cleaned it and put some new grease in and now it works. I hope it stays this way!
