  1. Depending on which K04 it actually is and what its from will depend on what manifold and downpipe you need, If it loots identical to that photo then its not a VAG based K04 like the one fitted to the Audi TT/S3.

He got this Turbo from someone, so he wants to use it. He don't want to spent more money, understand...

I told about for a T3/T4, but since he got this one for free...

  2. lolol This isn't for me!

I friend of mine owns a golk I with a VRS motor, and asked me about this at MSN right now, nad i just posted. He has the car, i want's to fit this turbo, because he got one ZERO cost.

    He told me it's a kkk k04-0??

  3. Your pic shows the adaptor to the downpipe not the exhaust manifold side. What turbo is it?

    Silly me...Downpipe yes!!...:o

It's a K04, it's for a friend of mine that has the 1.8T VRS motor fitted in a Golk I

  4. BlackOctaviaRS - I got a set of front Mintex Extreme (X1 compound for fast road use) from Jabbasport, £65 + delivery - they are excellent on the road - I'll let you know what the track verdict is in 2 weeks or so.

My furby is fitted with 312mm discs same as the Octy.

I don't do tracks, i just do a fast road use, almost the time very very above the speed limits:rofl: so, for that, i need some pads that can handle it! the skoda pads sucka!!:thumbdwn::thumbdwn:

  5. So once again...

I'm needing front pads for my octy VRS. I had some scary moments when i'm speeding and need to break hard! the pads are the ones that came originaly with the brakes, now it's the time to exchange them!!

    So, what do i buy??????

I see you folks talk about Mintex Extreme, Red and Yellow Stuff... I don't do tracks, i just use me car daily! But i like to speed up things a litle bit!! Like that, i need to breake a little more harder!

    What pads???

  6. i have a go fast bits fully adjustable blow off valve, whilst the car was standard i was running it 100% vented to atmosphere with no problems, once i got my car remapped, would go into limp mode,so now i have running 100% re-circulating,so what im saying dont bother with a bov,get a re-circulating one.

    Bought Forge 007p recirculating valve.

Might arrive Monday or tuesday...Will post after fitting;)

  7. For what i read, the spliter can work in both two ways, atmospheric and recirculanting. For the 1.8t engine they won't recomend to work it in atmosphere position! Like Uncle sayd, the 1.8t engine needs is a recirculating valve.

    I will get a Forge 007p valve.

Any one bought the fitting kit for the colder side, or just exchange with the old one?

  8. BT.. Big Turbo (?), IHI, GT28, GT30 etc (beaten to it.. as above)

320bhp will be enough until you want 350bhp... and then 400bhp. Its a slippery slope once you start!!

I was thinking for the GT28...

Yeah, you right, we will never get enough...it's like an addiction! It's like model, o themselfes, they're always fat! But NO!! :D Only to 320bhp!!it's enough...

  9. What's a BT conversion??

Yes, i have i consideration improvements at suspensions, brakes, gearboxe, struts braces, air intakes, probably 18"...

My doubt was especificaly at the engine, because i'm not like to want to open the engine to improve the internal...Probably 300bhp, 320bhp will be enought at the time...

Changing the engine is much expensive, and i'm not thinking for drag races so...300bhp or 320bhp will be enought, right?
