  1. Check the fuel filler breather pipe, I had a blockage on my old mk 2, cleaned crud out of it, looks like a golf tee peg when pulled it , ream it out with a bit of wire ,plug it in ,,no further problems!
  2. Could be the bulb, or holder, I recently had to change my bulb holder cos it failed. It's a bit fiddly getting the lense out to access the bulbs, first remove Trim, them 2x torq screws, jiggle the lens , then reveal bulb holders, it's tight ,but turn them and pull. The contact had corroded , thought I might clean it up, then it broke.ðŸĪŠ. To change it the whole lot needs to be unplugged ,then a new bulb holder loom put in. Water had got in some how drained quarter pint out!
  3. You might need to do a 'soft' reset, I can't remember exactly how to do it, but it involves holding the PWR button down for 10 sec's, screen goes blank , then beeps and lights up again. Some clever clogs is going to out me right of course!
  4. That I don't know, but I asked them to enable the tow bar programme, the info screen lights up when hitched, so presumably it's dedicated.
  5. A question re LED trailer lights, I have s 14 plate Occy with hitch , professionaly fitted with trailer options programmed. The LED board worked on my old MK2, but doesn't on the MK3, the lights work, but seems to be a fault as the brake light alternate with indicators, and other malfunctions. Would it be because of the cam bus for the lighting circuit? The old style board works ok, I had the plug of the faulty board and there's no short or loose wires, and apart from trying to get the LED units off doesn't seem at fault.
  6. Tony Octavia, Do you tow or use a lightboard? I normally use the eco settings, bit have noticed when I tow or use a hitch mounted bike rack, I plug in a lightboard, the gubbins switches to normal mode, you have to reset to eco. It amuses me when in eco, the revs drop to near tick over when it's freewheeling at 70 odd, then picks up when under load again, it frit the **** out of me first time ,I thought something calamitous had happened!
  7. ...and once you done that, perversely you need to pull it back to change back to 'normal'!
