Check your multimeter on another battery 11.5 volts is way too low, a fully charged battery should be at least 13.2 volts, you may have a dead cell in the battery.
-
If you removed all the windows and taped up the panel gaps, you may get to 89mph.

Stirlingshire Vehicle Services just off Grangemouth Rd are OK.

Valeo are the OEM manufacturers for VW anyway.
You may find it cheaper to buy direct from VW flywheel around £110 and a clutch kit £90 ( based on the slightly larger vr6 one) which has a higher torque rating.

Get it repaired, either moisture or a reaction, can only get worse
-
The owners manual doesn't relate to RHD cars nor does it reflect the correct fuse locations. Best to trace the circuits on a haynes manual or obtain Skoda tech sheet from somewhere
-
The connectors on both are the same I'd just go with push ins unless Lummox disagrees

Mine had push ins, but the chassis number always brought up bolt ins. My head wasn't tapped for bolt ins but did have blind stubs.
Found the part number at VAG parts, https://sslrelay.com/s74326199.oneandoneshop.co.uk/sess/utn1547e6d3f35edc9/shopdata/index.shopscript
Price: 20.29 GB + vat

They also have the bolt in ones

It's the plug, had all the same faults, cleaned the contacts today and all well again.

I found Skoda dealers locally didn't stock the coils, I got mine from a Seat and VW dealer. They are all a generic part the ones you want end with the letter "R"
£29 each.

Bodywork looks an easy repair, depends on suspension / steering damage. Bummer it spoilt your holiday.

Skoda genuine bars are made by Brink.
If it doesn't fit right it's either the wrong bar for the car or you may have a "jigged chassis"

Nice one Derek, I thought about it last week after last years pictures, will have to go next year.
Been a good week then with Saturdays result nights away and the best car show in the world.

****in nuts, well done.:)

Glowplugs is my bet.

Have a look at the classifieds on cupra-net usually quite a few bits you need for sale over there.

Saw it in the flesh Sunday, front looks great, but the back lights weren't to my taste, a medium smoke tint may have looked better.

Mine ran at.
1. 180 and never broke
2. 215 broke once :(
3. 265 broke twice :(:(
All the cars above 215bhp generally chew Turbos quite quick, can't comment on the new breed of turbos as I gave up with the Fabia.
When my GTRS 35 goes on the Octavia I expect that will break something as well.
Just saving up for the internal work prior to fitting.

You should have bought a cheap set of Mk1 octy elegance wheels if you wanted to paint them, same style.
-
It;s only money, enjoy the car, we all get ripped off buying the bloody things, someone somewhere is always making a profit from your hard earned cash.
-
Just look at the guy on here wanting a yellow Fabia, he paid £8k just over a month ago and the same dealer offers him £6.2k as a trade in now.
With a newish car it's hard because the owner wants top whack and forget they paid HMCE 17.5% for the pleasure of buying new. Now they are not VAT registered but still want to recoop some of it.

Contact KTP on here and see about getting your red one stickered up. Add a set of white wheels and off you go.
