Well, My dog(one of many) was with me while I was going through this thread and this was his reaction on seeing the recurring "PUPPIES" picture. Enjoy. Cheers.

Oh dear - Tata want to re-introduce the Indica
Zavo replied to Dr Zoidberg's topic in General Automotive Chat
Decron, Being from India.. I take great offence to that statement. A washing machine's a USEFUL TOOL to have around the house... an Indica isnt!! -

Hi, Sorry.. just call me lazy, but I wasn't bothered to find out if this topic existed. I have a 2004 1.9 TDi L&K with the standard single MP3 head unit, and a reguar 6 CD changer in the trunk. Now before you ICE guys go all :thumbdwn::thumbdwn::thumbdwn::thumbdwn::thumbdwn: on me lemme just say this.. I like music.. but am not that much into ICE. What I do want to know is this. The L&K has steering controls for Volume and changing tracks and an in dash display which I LOVE and want to keep no matter what.. hence I still have the OE head unit. It IS very BLAH I agree hence I would like to know this from all you ICE GURU's. What HU could I upgrade to and still keep my in dash display and steering mounted controls? Awaiting your inputs(no pun intended) Cheers. Z.

OK another query here for ye tech Gods. I got a wifi router at home which I use for the laptops. I do a lot of (il)legal downloading too..so sue me.. I also have a desktop which does not have any kind of wifi capabality. BUT.. I do have two router's. One's an SMC 54 kbps and the other's a D-LINK 108 mbps. My question here is, could I plug the SMC into the desktop, and use it as a receiver only so that it saves me the hassle of pulling a million cables all over my apartment. I know the easiest thing to do would be to move the desktop, but then a computer in the living room to me is just tacky. Cheers. Zavo

Hi, Contrary to popular belief we in India stopped using Elephant's to go to work from our mud hut's eon's ago. I've been a VW fan ever since I could remember, sitting in my Beetle(which sadly is no longer with us:mad:) and have now progressed onto a Skoda 1.9 tdi with a PSI box, K&N stock replacement filter, a set of lowering springs courtesy ABT sportsline and a set of 16's off the vRS shod with Yokohama's. Oh yea, I work in Motorsports Administration in India's emerging motorsport's scene. We're a far cry from other countries as far as Motorsport's is concerned, but yea I think we'll get there soon.. Been a lurker here for a while now, and finally decided to register. Great site. Hope to learn a lot, and contribute almost nothing aside from mindless ramblings, so watch out..:P Cheers. Zavo. Attaching a picture of my car getting her new shoes..you can see em in front, and the old one at the rear.
