Shark visit - impressive results!

Am I right in reading that, the coilpacks have not failed to the point of generating a fault code, but are still causing issues? The reason I ask is my tsi vrs isn't particularly smooth around the 2000rpm mark and I just assumed it was something to do with emission control as the turbo was spooling up. -
Safe locking, I believe is a reminder about the dead locks when you lock the car,it does mention it somewhere in the handbook
-
I don't know how many of you have spotted this on you tube: ,but does this mean a limited edition vrs is getting closer to our UK shores?

Why not just get the sun shades http://www.vanstyle.co.uk/shop/product_info.php/products_id/3947 then if you don't like them you can just put them back in the boot?

Is it a switchable APR map? if so is it in the valet mode? -
Had my new vrs from Palmers mid January, didn't particularly like the insistance of the money for the car being paid out 2 days before collection, but I am happy with the car and the deal was good.I did give the car a good clean and polish when I got it home and I was quite amazed at the filth that came off it.Palmers have recently sent a text and a letter insisting the car needs a interim service, which I realise is b****cks.

Check for small rust marks, especially on the back of the car I had to use some ironx to remove it on mine.It is from the transport of the car on a train and it is the brake dust residue,it just happens to be alot more noticable on a white car.

Have you checked the lower boost pipe for a boost leak ,the o ring seal is prone to fail especially when the boost increases ( part number 06A 145 790C ) -
solid flywheel conversion question
Chris B replied to Bosco1980's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk I (1996-2004)
The best mod I made to the car was the single mass flywheel and the drive feels the same as the dualmass. -
If memory serves me right didn't the estate sit on 16'' wheels instead of 17'',with a smaller rolling radius ,that would lower the car slightly compared to the saloon.

Ordered a petrol vrs estate in candy white, with a sunroof, maxidot, spare wheel, silver roof bars(concerned the black would fade),xenons, boot tray and sill protectors for £18100,plus they agreed a value for the current vrs in part exchange if I haven't sold it.The local dealer didn't want any part exchange don't know why?

Is it you who I've spotted going around Hanford round a bout, causing the initial oooh I like that.

Allways found Eardleys hit and miss to be honest and once its arrived it is never going there for any servicing or warranty work.Had the cambelt etc done on the current one at Lakeside VW as it was a better price cos they would price match with PSI tunning

Thanks, thought some aftermarket alterations required like the mark 1 vrs
