I had same issue on my seat arona, there is a fix that was applied, it's a minor two sec plug into computer and it will resolved. I had two months trying to perform the two key authentication and it never worked. I know same fix works on mark 8 golf and suggest your dealer should check for tpi. Have a look at attached internal seat doc , this is more around how to set up and also perform the identification for remote lock and unlock. Sure Skoda will be similar SEAT CONNECT Guide.pdf

You have to have your phone or WIFI connected to the car .... unless you do that Internet Radio does nothing if you use the built in E-sim. So if you set up your phone as WIFI hotspot and connect to that then Internet Radio will work

Just so you are aware I have been having the same battle with my Seat Arona MIB 3 system since Oct last year ... it took over a month for them to get Seat Connect to Work and then another 4 weeks to get the Seat Ident process to work as nobody had a clue ... eventually it does all work. But Radio logo battle is still ongoing and no progress at all .... I have done the same talking to Global (Heart, Capital etc) RadioDNS on twitter and basically agree with your views .... if the radio station doesn't broadcast the logo we are screwed ! Frustrating as the manual suggets you can edit and there is the same presumably as Skoda options in the mens to select the logo but you can't select anything from anywhere .... There must be something somwehere in the code that 'unlocks' the USB-C drive for uploads ... maybe via OBDC but someone needs to have a play around ...

No is the answer to your question same answer from Seat on my MY21 Seat Arona with MIB3 Unit and I have spoken to the mastertech at the garage and same on VW Mark 8 Golf. I actually had a twitter 'row' with Global who own lots of the independant , Heart, Capital etc etc and they told me it was the Car manufacturers fault ! and it was Globals policy not to broadcast their logos.... why I don't undertstand ..... I also had a twitter exchange and looked at company called RadioDNS (google them) this details all about the Hybrid radio and standards and Audi have partnered with them ... ie the Internet Radio etc we can get in our Cars. I actually managed to create an XML file following their standards, download 6 different sizes of file for Heart Kent, Heart 80, Heart 90 and put all onto my USB C .... all to find no change ! Its annoying because if I listen to Heart on the internet radio I get a logo and can save it to the presets, if I listen to the DAB same Heart station no logo and when you try to manage logos you can't select anything. Manage Logos only seems to allow be to delete the logos from those that already have them and not to add anymore. Basically unless VAG Group decide to change the software to allow us to read the USB C for Logos then I think in all VW, Seat, Skoda platforms its all the same and all broken .... Step backwards from the MIB2 units in the pre MY21 VAG cars.

Thanks so you must have previous generation and now a model year 21 car. Looks like maybe only 3 months old, but car was built early part of 2020. Must have sat at a dealers. It's not the same part number or details as latest mib3 unit

If you look under System Information you will see the screen already shown in this thread a bit further up ..... Can you list the version numbers or screen shot like moordown66. How old is your car ?

Assume nobody else with USB c can get this to work?

What software and hardware version is in your car? It's listed in settings? How old is the car and do you know when it was built? Maybe been fixed in latest generation software?
