Does anyone know if the requested boost should closely match actual boost on a 1.8t mk1 octavia vrs. I ran a 115 log and notised my rquested boost at WOT is around 2000 mbar and my actual boost never rises above 1350 mbar. Would this be why my 17705 pressure drop code keeps showing. Items that have been replaced are the N75, N112, N249, DV, PVC, MAP sensor, MAF sensor, all OEM parts. The throttle body has been taken of and cleaned till looking new and reset with vagcom. Tedted for leaks and non found. Mostly happening in mornings or when car has been left standing for awhile but when I start up and go to give it some I hear the turbo starting to spool up then nothing, no boost at all till a switch of and back on then its ok again. But dont do this all the time and sometimes its spooling up late at around 3000 revs and never really pulls like it should. All other blocks read are reading fine and the car runs spot on, very quite very smooth. Its just a very intermitent boost problem. Im starting to suspect the turbo on its way out but not sure yet. And also does anyone know what the requested boost should be on a stock mk1 occy vrs

hi bit of a noob but here goes, keep getting the 17705 error code, even after its been cleared I start the car and rev it and it shows up again without even going for a drive,, the things that have been replaced are, N75, N112, N249, Map, Maf, and all hoses/pipes have been checked tons of times and no leaks, throttle body has been completely cleaned and also the AIT sensor checked and cleaned, the DV has been tested and is holding pressure, and the PVC and been taken of checked and cleaned. the problem is very low or no boost on start up, usually in the mornings or after I have left the car a few hours. turn of and back on and the boost is back. its extremely intermittent as some mornings its fine and boosts fine then other mornings go to put foot down and can here it go to boost but then backs of and no boost again till the turn of and back on,, car is an octavia mk1 vrs and its running stock, nothing has been done to the car. turbo actuator rod is moving as it should when tested. what am I missing ?? I have logged a run in the car as the turbo cut out so should of logged it but don't know what im looking at to be honest and wondered if anyone with some knowledge on the logging data and can understand what all the numbers mean could help ? really at a loss and starting to get disheartened with the car.

Nice, what sort of lights will be there, /Car/flood lights etc, with some good panning I bet there can be some fun pics to be had. But saying that i own the panasonic FZ50 and I have only 1 night pic.:( (not the best night cameras, must be the small sensors) -

The same way i did this lol no seriously, it was done with a sound controller, Mic, and DJ Strobe, once its been timed its just a case of hitting the target with the pellet. -

Thanks Peeps. @ auroan, i use a sound trigger and microphone attached to a DJ strobe. when the mic pics up the noise of the gun it sets of a quick burst of light from the DJ strobe and freezes the image, there is a controller for the timing, i shoot a few bits of plastic to get the timing right then try on the subject. its done in darkness to so you have to have everything set up befor the lights turn out. all i have is a small low powered led just enough to see what where im aiming. the camera is on a long shutter of about 1-2seconds. -
