  1. Im looking for info on the Traction Control warning light, as mine keeps coming on. cant find anything on here, maybee someone can help. I've read in the manual that it will come on if there is something wrong with the TCS or ABS. As anyone had the same problem? As far as I know the brakes work fine and the TCS is still working when the light is on. If i restart my engine it will go off. It dont make that much sense to me but it seems that if i rag it abit it doesn't come on but if i tootle around it comes on. :S Any Ideas, Does anyone have the diagnostics tool? I can pay if someone wants to have a look at it. Or ill take it skoda but i recon they will charge something silly, as it was expensive to get them to take the service light off when nothing was wrong. My car is still under warrenty from where I bought it from just dont want to go to Boston to get it checked. Greatfull for any advise I can get. Thanks
  2. sorry to hear your car isnt to healthy but, glad your ok,
  3. in the pics the front is 55mm lower, the back is has no adjusters on so is lowered about 60-70mm, now the rear adjusters are fitted they are 55mm all round, but when i get time the front is going down a tad and the rear up a tad for when i put me bike rack on,

  6. your vrs prodgect is blummin mint mate, simolar kinda look im going for, lovin the grey wheels and smoked lights.
  7. im looking into it, i know what you mean and agree, but if you can fit them your self or have a friend who no's what they are doing why not, my mate fitted me coilovers for me for free, so im overly pleased as it leaves money for a de cat and air filter
  8. cheers, i couldnt just get an ordanary car, :P went for all the extras too,
  9. i rate them, they dont dive loads round corners, they dip then hold nice. im really pleased with them, proformance/price wise there bob on. so much better than the standard stuff, But my fab is NOT a VRS, its a tdi pd100,
  10. if you read, '' now 50 all round ill get a fresh pic later'', its more 55mm all round, that pic was taken with no rear adjusters as they was missing from the package, hense the super lowe back end.
  11. the roads are funner out in the countryside but the chips are crap[' they do do nice chips there, im just round the corner from there.
  12. hi, my friend had a remap at jabba at 35,000, he has the tdi pd130 vw bora (basicly vrs engine) he got 174bhp after the remap, at 45,000 clutch went and he upgraded. i dont know technical turms and dont know the torque sorry
  13. 80mm rear 50mm front, now 50 all round ill get a fresh pic later, ive got 16's on, the jamex extreme's come with the drop links.
  14. thanks for the comments people, much appreciated, come on its not a friggin comfort its a elegance, the side repeaters are going smoked, the grill surround going black and elegance signs off, its not even nearly started yet, ill keep you all in formed, im looking into that cheers wja96
  15. ive just moved out of the hood to a respectile place called bramcote, :p wheres you tas
  16. jamex extreme coilovers £330-400, 20-60mm adjustment, ive lowered mine about 55mm, no probs.
  17. Thanks, Changing the hubs will be peanuts compared to putting on Brembo's or D2's. And the 312mm brakes are immense! how much am i looking for hub replacment?
  18. thanks, I drive mostly for fun and i am very pleased with the proformance of these coilovers, the ride is 100% better, I can take a corner faster now with out feeling uncomftable, even with it being 30% stiffer than the standard springs its not too hard for me, although I think some people would not like how stiff they are as you do have to be very aware of the road conditions and avoid speed humps at all cost, I live on a close and there are lots of turns to get to it and the roads here are not smooth, i used to go 40mph along it now with the coilovers fitted i can only do 25-30 as the road is in such bad condition. That may give you an idea. But I can not say how pleased i am with them. i really do enjoy driving her even more
  19. ill give those a miss then, might look into some brembo's, cheers for that advise,
  20. just thought id show you how my fab prodgect is coming along, I've put on some vrs 16'' alloys on, in satin black with kumo rubber. bought off a briskoda member, then i fitted my jamex extreme coilovers, she handles great now, next is the air filter/ ind and exhaust, then a remap. most people choose to upgrade the engine first but im sensible and went for the handling first as lets face it stock shocks (even on the vrs) are crap. Im thinking of spraying my brake calipers yellow or green, unless someone is selling some green ones on here, i will consider buying them. tell me what you think.
  21. Hi all, Today I took my 55 reg Fabia 1.9 TDI to get the right wing replaced as some willy dropped his mountain bike on it, luckily he waited by to sort things out. As a certcity car i got a 58 reg Fabia 1.2 hpt, blueline, it has 3 cylinders 12 valves and is quite churpy for such a small engine but its awfully slow. I drive a more powerfull car day to day, so maybe its not as slow as I think. It has got good things about it. Nice 15'' wheels, it is 15mm lower, it doesnt sound much but it really makes a difference, its a stiffer more supporting ride, the gears are nice and close. The interier is comfy but could look better, it has a very good cd player with supurb speaker set up. This is a great car and if only Skoda did one with 1.9 tdi and few other bits and bobs I would be very tempted. Ive driven the fabia2 and I think the blueline is better, better comfort, nicer ride and better value for money. Anyone want a go, lol
