What have you done to your Superb III today?
It is a Maxton splitter actually. Managed to fit it without removing the front bumper by way of using some rivnuts. I've used rivnuts before but completely forgot about them until someone on here mentioned them to me. Cheers JR RS for that reminder. You know it never occurred to me to maybe switch around the wheels. Hmmmmmmmm? Mine doesn't actually ... well not as bad as it had new anyhow. I dropped the suspension 30mm onto some genuine Eibach springs. It's still comfortable but it rides flatter around corners and it's not as wallowy. I've kept it all these years purely because no matter what other cars I had at the same time I still always appreciated just how honest it is. It does nothing brilliantly, but it does everything rather well and without fuss.

Wheels spacers 20mm rear, 15mm front. Debadged the bloody awful L&K logos. They look like they belong on a violin or Italian menu. Front splitter fitted. Car's done now. Happy with how it looks. It's alright for a luxury bus. Even getting used to the PHEV aspect of it. The 19" alloys do look well but I agree they do compromise the soft ride quality a little. I just have to keep an eye out for potholes I suppose. It's been a while since I've been around these forums, so hello all, new and old. I still have a mint condition 1.9TDi 130bhp Mk1 Superb with only 65k on it. I keep meaning to sell it but never get around to it because I still have a big soft spot for it. I've had other cars in the meantime, but this one still remains in the stables. I remapped it and it's running around the 165bhp mark these days but still returns 50+mpg. Honestly it does everything pretty well and I'm appreciating the ease of it more these days with all newer cars having everything electric or "smart". I lowered the suspension and threw some 18" RS4 alloys on it even. Added a from splitter to that too but honestly I need the garage space back these days. Will be sad to see it go. I might get around to getting it gone sometime soon, we'll see. As for now this new estate bus is the daily driver. I like it well enough so far. 21 plate with 80K on it.

Does anyone else have these niggling problems with the Amundsen stereo?
To answer you both, No I have not filled in the artist and album stuff. I download a lot of DJ sets and mixes which means they'll not have regular ID3 tags. Hmmmmmm I might have to start formatting ID3 tags.

Does anyone else have these niggling problems with the Amundsen stereo?
I've trawled through the forum a bit and read stuff here and there but information is so scattered that it's giving me a headache now. Am I the only one who thinks the Amundsen infotainment system is just bloody awkward to use? Or is it me and I'm just using it wrong? I want to play music from a USB drive in the centre armrest console, so I've formatted the USB driver and copied some mp3 tracks to it. Some are in folders that make logical sense to anyone browsing the folder structure. Albums etc. The problem is the stereo doesn't play stuff from individual folders, it just scans the entire drive and plays them in filename order, regardless which folder they are in. It just scans the entire drive and plays every song from every folder in alphabetical order. What?! Another issue is every time I turn off the ignition and lock the car, then return to the car later and turn on the ignition ... is the stereo playing the same song I left it playing? No! It's started again at the very beginning of all the files in all the folders playing in name order. Before anyone says it, I don't want to use my phone to play music, I just want the stereo to do its job. Seriously everyone, am I doing something ridiculously dumb here and I'll be embarrassed for even asking this, or is it really that un intuitive? If it's a dumb question I apologise right here, right now. if it makes any difference it's the Amundsen with the USB-C in the "ashtray". From what I've read that's the latest model right?

Body Control Module BCM replacement and coding.
Hello all. Old member here but haven't been active for a while for various reasons. I have a question though and would greatly appreciate some help. My new (new to me at least) Superb 2021 iV estate has an issue where the interior lights don't work, the ambient lighting doesn't work and the dashboard and infotainment screens are all stuck at their lowest brightness settings. The error occurred after the 12v battery ran quite low and needed to be charged. The car was standing for a time and hasn't really been driven much. Everything else is fine and as far as I can see all the fuses are fine. Car starts and runs just fine with no error lights on the dash. I've not just asked this question here without doing any reading first and it seems it could well be an issue with the body control module (BCM) apparently. So my question is in two parts. Can the BCM be reset in any way? Bear in mind this is the iV hybrid version so I'm not certain if disconnecting the 12v battery deprives all control modules of power? If I source a replacement BCM and fit it myself, does it need to be recoded to the car? If so can this be done by a forum member with either VCDS or ODIS? Would genuinely be grateful of some help here. Thanks in advance to anyone that offers some useful advice.
