  1. I did not make my self clear superchips told me they will not be offering bluefin for the cr in the near future, you have to take your car to buckingham because none of the dealers are able to remap the cr ecu at this time, as for taking my car to be the test vehicle for all cr 170 maps not a problem if the cost had been vastly reduced or free, in my experience of motorcycle tuning a company will give you free of charge a remap/new exhaust system in exchange for you letting them have use of a new model that they have not seen before to develop there products on , superchips also wanted to charge me the full bluefin amount even though i wouldnt have had one! p torque has a proven remap ready to go on the car!

  2. last time i spoke to superchips about a month ago they told me they could remap the cr but only if i took it to buckingham and had it done on the rolling road they were also under the impression it was140 bhp when i mentioned it was 170 bhp they said oh we havnt seen one of those yet but we can do it ,they wanted my car for three to four hours it wouldnt be bluefin just remapped and wanted me to pay full price ! i have since had it remapped by p torque, im very pleased with the results and it was a lot less expensive.

  3. had my vrs cr remapped by will at p-torque this week, fantastic ! on the matter of the rr problem your car isnt a freak JAMESYG mine did exactly the same 130 odd bhp 250 ft lb torque and climbing rapidly when the ecu reined it in ! Will said he has spoken to numerous contacts in the industry here and abroad and they have all had the same problem ? shame jcdub is over the water would be interesting to take my car onto the rr he used see if they could work some of that irish magic on mine and get some figures?

  4. Hi everyone hope someone can help ? ive got an oct vrs cr saloon , few months ago i hit a kerb stupid i know , took the car to main dealer Autosales Bilston ,they replaced the offside wheel, bottom arm, hub assembly, shock absorber, had four wheel alignment check (not by someone as good as wheels in motion) which was all ok,car drives straight and true. I have recently noticed on left hand lock a vibration/rumble and noise at lowish speed ,it feels like driving on a rumble strip, at high speed its just a constant noise and vibration all seeming to come from the previously damaged side ,dealer have had it in today no visable sign of any conponents coming into contact ,dealer not a clue at moment , any ideas thanks

  5. getting back to the original thread, i received an email from superchips yesterday, they have a 20% discount offer on until christmas ! i have just phoned superchips to ask if the software for the CR will be included, they dont think it will be released whilst the offer is on so in other words not this side of christmas.

  6. I used the service department this week, my car had damage to the suspension , they diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts and repaired the car with the minimum of time and fuss, keeping me informed throughout. What a difference from ther sister dealer in cannock.

    Can highly recommend autosales Bilston.

  7. ive had my cr vrs for a month now, only drive about five miles each way to work in the week, the engine never really warms up due to the short distance and nature of the journey 30 and 40 mph speed limits so it only gets driven steadily monday to friday ! done 1100 miles now with no problems never seen dpf light not an issue. If anyones routine would show dpf problems i would imagine mine would.

  8. Getting my bluefin on Thursday. for my 170 Tdi Octavia common rail. Can't wait ot feel the difference :-)

Dose anyone else on here have there 170 common rail remaped yet?

    JC

how is the bluefin going on the common rail ? im looking at having my cr re mapped but havnt spoke to anyone whos had one done yet.

  9. autosales originally told me they would change the wheels but if skoda then rejected the claim i would have to pay for them, refused to do this so after a call direct to skoda customer services they agreed to change them at no risk to myself, couldnt get one of my rear brake calipers changed though which the green paint was coming off, they said it was the way i had cleaned the wheels, the fact that the paint was fine on the other three calipers cleaned the same way made no difference.
