  1. In very condition, this Monte Carlo 3-spoke flat bottom multi function steering wheel was a straight swap for the 2-spoke wheel in my 2021 Fabia 1.0 SE. Lovely perforated leather and red stitching. All buttons and rollers worked first time, with no coding necessary. Airbag not included. I'm looking for £100, plus approx £10 postage. Collection by arrangement if you are anywhere near Lincoln.
  2. These are now on eBay ending on Sunday, 13th November, so get in soon if you want a bargain. I just want some garage space back 😊
  3. SOLD Set of Mk3 Fabia Monte Carlo seats for sale. Full set of front and rear in very good condition. These fit straight into a Mk3 facelift. I ran them briefly in a '21 plate SE, and they offer so much more support than the originals. Selling due to sale of vehicle. PM for further info if required £200 collected from Lincoln area
  4. It arrived yesterday, but I'm sure yours won't hang around long 👍
  5. Thanks, that's a really generous offer, but I've decided to buy a lead from Gendan, then I can have a play trying to swap my steering wheel at the weekend 👍
  6. Attempted to do a scan with Hex-USB+CAN lead on my 21 plate Fabia and appear to get a very limited list of groups, with "Unsupported vehicle. Please upgrade to a current Ross-Tech interface" (see attached scan image) Can I take it that I would get a more comprehensive list if I upgraded to a Hex-V2 cable. I would be grateful to know the answer before splashing out on a new cable All advice and assistance gratefully received
  7. Ordered from Kopacek during their 20% sale, arrived in reasonable amount of time. Was almost going to blow £21 at local dealer for the fitting templates, but then decided line of sight would be as easy
  8. They list UK in the list for postage. Not cheap at 26.99Eu,but with the discount they've come out at £79.50 inc delivery, which compares well with UK prices for the non-R5 version
  9. ....until 14 th February 2022, so I've taken the plunge to add some bhp to the Fabia 😊
  10. I used to be very dark, but I've seen the light now I'm old. I won't be modifying this one 🤣🤣
  11. I've now returned to the Skoda fold after a short break having taken advantage of the buoyant part-exchange prices. So this is my latest daily, a 2021 reg facelift Mk 3 1.0 TSi SE in candy white, just over 4k miles recorded, and at least £1000 cheaper than dealer prices. It's good to be back.
  12. Thanks for that 👍 Rang my local dealer today. They've quoted £180 for the kit, £17 for the activation code, and a staggering 3.2 hours labour @£90 per hour, so getting on for £500 in all. I think I could swap the stalks in less than 3 hours, even with my limited technical knowledge 😕
  13. Has anyone got an update as to whether this stalk swap worked please? I've recently bought a 21 plate 1.0 TSi SE with the speed limiter, but would find cruise control much more useful
  14. View Advert Mp3 Stream - excellent condition Mp3 Stream from 2008 Octavia vRS, in excellent condition. Removed due to upgrade. Perfect as replacement for defective item or putting back to standard. No code, but should be obtainable through local dealer. £35 collected, delivery likely to be in region of £15 Advertiser Brimma Date 08/03/21 Price £35 Category Parts for Sale Shipping Estimate £15
  15. The orange just looks too fast for the diesel, every boy racer and his dog would want to take you on wherever you go The Golf on the other hand looks very understated, especially in white, but I'm relishing the thought of going back to the adapative cruise, DSG and lane assist which I had on a Superb L&K. The car will amost drive itself if you feel that way inclined. Plus the check seat material looks a lot more hard-wearing than the alcantara
  16. Bit of a thread resurrection here, but I'm on the verge of buying a nearly new Golf GTD estate (2019, 5,600 miles) I could go for the 'in your face' Focus ST diesel estate in orange fury (2020, 1960 miles), which is equally loaded with goodies, possibly even more so, for an extra £2k By comparison with either of them, the spec levels on most nearly new Octavia vRSs, at a similar price, are quite low. Very few have the digital dash, even fewer have adaptive cruise and lane assist and rear camera, which aren't absolutely necessary but are very nice to have If it boiled down to colour it would be the orange Focus every time, but the head is telling me to stay with VAG (Awaits being pilloried for the audacity)
  17. Looking forward to seeing this in the flesh. Maybe give it a run out to one of the WAVE meets?
