Trevorb33’s Citigo Vrs 148Bhp (Up gti Conversion)
Was thinking about it but I can't find anything online to confirm if they are in fact bigger than the standard Citigo brakes. Have you compared your gti brakes with the standard ones? Would be interested to know one way or another.

Hoping the gti brakes will clear the 15" Aurigas on my Elegance.

Trevorb33’s Citigo Vrs 148Bhp (Up gti Conversion)
Was planning to do the same with my 63 plate Elegance but was let down at the last minute by an eBay seller. Will be following your build with interest. Will you be selling the GTi seats? If you are I could be interested in them.

Sat Nav and New style cradle....
The new type cradle comes in two pieces I believe. The above satnav mount attaches to the base part of the cradle. Picture below may help.

Sat Nav and New style cradle....
There is an adaptor mount for a Tomtom satnav available and I'm sure its a genuine accessory from Skoda/VW. It looks like it is for the Tomtom Start satnavs which can be picked up cheap enough. Looks like it might be suitable? Part number is ZGB1S0051001

Gloss black trim fitted to steering wheel.
Fitted the gloss black trim to the steering wheel today, pleased with the look. Matches the radio surround now. Was thinking about doing the full width gloss black Monte Carlo dash but maybe too much? Plus that'll be a bit more difficult to do. Trim came from Octavia steering wheel.

Crankshaft pulley bolt torque setting
The camshaft lock can be seen in the back ground of my picture in the first post. The crankshaft counter hold tool is what Wino's eBay link shows.

Thank you for confirming from another source. Already have that same counterhold tool. Hope my breaker bar is long enough!

Crankshaft pulley bolt torque setting
Can someone confirm the torque setting for the crankshaft pulley bolt on a BBY 1.4 engine please. I have found two settings, 90nm +90° for a flat head bolt and 150nm +180° for a recessed head bolt. This is the old bolt I will be replacing; I'm pretty sure I should be using the 150nm +180° torque setting but don't want to get it wrong obviously. Thanks
