  1. Is the 869B version for the updated heater controls face panel?
  2. I'm even more confused now! Don't know which radio part number I should buy. I know that 1ST, 1S0 & 1SL are for the different car makes but have seen 1ST035871A which is a Citigo model but also seen a UP version 1S0035869B. What is the difference between 871A and 869B, and which should I get??
  3. I'm sure I read a topic on here about upgrading to the facelift radio but can't find it now. Could some point me in the right direction please?
  4. Bought a second hand Monte Carlo tailgate today, only want the spoiler from it. Anybody know the best way to remove without damaging it. Was thinking of using a heat gun on low setting and fishing line to cut through the adhesive.
  5. Have a look here in the projects section. https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/332963-wheel-arch-liners/
  6. Don't think it will. The UP tailgate is curved glass I believe, the Citigo and Mii both have a crease line across them. If it did fit you would need to swap the rear lights to match.
  7. I have fitted facelift twin h7 headlights to my daughter's 2013 Elegance without any issues. You will need to get the connectors that plug in to the headlight unit together with some of the wiring to solder to the original loom.
  8. Another vote for Osram Night Breakers here. Much better than the standard bulbs.
  9. The part number for the 4motion springs I had fitted were 1J0 411 105 CE for the front and 1J9 511 115 H for the rear. I also changed the shock absorbers, part number 1J0 413 031 EA for the front, 1J0 512 011 BT for the rear. The front anti-roll bar on the 4x4 is 19mm diameter, the 4motion one is 20mm, part number is 1J0 411 305 AE. The rear bar is 13mm standard, the 4motion one is 14mm, part number 1J9 511 409 E. You can fit R32 anti roll bars which are 23mm & 19mm respectively. If you fit an R32 rear bar the spare wheel well in the boot needs modifying with a lump hammer to clear! Had to change the rear track control arms to slotted ones from an R32, the 4x4 ones are fixed and do not allow the tracking to be adjusted correctly. These I bought second hand off eBay. The springs and shock absorbers I bought new from local VW dealer (not cheap) who had to order them from Germany. When fitting the front shocks I removed a metal spacer from the top mount and replaced the bump stops with shorter ones, part number 1J0 412 303. Hope this helps. Forgot the rear drop links, changed for shorter ones, part number 1J0 505 466 B.
  10. Changed one a few years back using this guide; https://www.upownersclub.co.uk/threads/howto-change-the-battery-in-the-maps-and-more.6714/#post-72438
  11. I did this mod to my daughters Citigo. The metal part will actually just unclip if you pull out the knob to the foglight on position and use a small jewellers type screwdriver between the metal and plastic part.
  12. If you want to decode your option sticker go to the link below and enter the codes. http://igorweb.org/equidec.aspx
  13. The rear diffuser is a separate part to the bumper, I had a diffuser fitted to my Elegance by local dealer. The one I have is matt black which I think is for a Sport, the Monte Carlo models have a gloss black diffuser. Not sure how easy they are to come by now
  14. The mount I was thinking of is for the later style phone clip mount sorry.
  15. There is I believe and genuine vw/skoda accessory mount that attaches to the top of the dashboard that allows Tomtom satnavs with the 'ball' mount to be fixed. It doesn't allow for charging of the satnav though. I did post a picture on another thread here a while ago. I'll have a look for it.
  16. Where did you get the boot trims from?
  17. Will have a closer look at the plug and compare with the original one and hopefully it'll just be a case of repositioning some wires and running some extra wires for the second window switch.
  18. After you had installed the new loom did the electric window and central locking in the drivers door still work? Reason I ask is that I have a door loom from a twin window switch Citigo that I want to swap into my drivers door. I know the passenger window switch will not function without some additional wiring across to the other door.
  19. I realise you were only quoting 'Wings Skoda'. I guess it's their way of getting someone to buy both spoilers.
  20. 1ST 071 640 B is the Monte Carlo rear spoiler 1ST 071 640 A is a VW Up/Seat Mii rear spoiler What a load of nonsense! I have had a front spoiler fitted to my Elegance since 2017 with no issues whatsoever.
  21. Yes I saw the pictures. I just wondered what sort of price you got it for.
  22. I saw that on eBay, would have to pay VAT & duty on that price otherwise I'd probably go for it. Was thinking maybe one of the Polos or Ibizas had the same calipers and hub carriers. I will eventually do the GTi conversion if a complete car comes at a decent price. If you don't mind me asking could you give me an idea what you paid for you GTi parts.
  23. Looks like the front brakes will be OK with 15" alloys. I'll start sourcing brakes for my Elegance I think. Are there any differences with the rear brakes or axle beam? I'm sure I've seen somewhere a rear disc conversion using Lupo GTi parts.
  24. Is the wiring for the mirror indicators just a case of connecting to the plug for the wing repeaters? Does it matter that the mirror indicators are LED or is that not an issue? When will you be doing the front brakes? If you have the front suspension leg and brakes as a complete unit can you trial fit one of the Aurigas 15" wheels? If it fits no problem I'll start searching for the brake parts for my car.
  25. Do you intend to fit the GTi door mirrors to the Citigo?
