  1. A photo I took of the inside of mine when I arrived home, thanks to John!
  2. Hi all, I want to remove my rear wiper on my 2015 Hatch. I don't like the look of it and think I can do without it. Problem is I can't figure out how to remove the interior trim to get to the motor! Any ideas? Thanks
  3. That isn't a lot cheaper than Genuine.
  4. I had the DSG and Haldex oil changes done at JKM in Portsmouth this week. It was fairly overdue as I think they need doing at 40k and the car is now on 55k. The gearbox changes up a lot smoother now, which I didn't expect to notice really. Following this, as I do with all my cars as some sort of initiation and health check I visited Charlie at SRR today. Results below: Now tempted to build on this with an APR or other remap..
  5. Well I have instructions from a thread on here but have never used VCDS (if that's what it is) before.
  6. I will be there. Is there anyone going that could code the ambient lighting colours in my Superb 3?
  7. As above, hoping to attend more regularly than every 5 years now we have two Skoda's!
  8. Literally just spotted this, will try and pop along in my new to me Superb!
  9. Thanks, I'd find the black paint work a lot more difficult to look after than the leather!
  10. My new to me, Jungle Green L&K 280. Had it 4 days..
  11. So about £400 a year difference between petrol and diesel (at a guess). Assuming you are not towing I would personally look at (or test drive) a petrol. Regarding trim level, I am a sucker for toys and aesthetics so am looking only at L&K & Sport-line models but its all personal choice. Are you bothered about leather, heated seats, adaptive cruise control etc?
  12. How many miles do you do a year? Personally I am looking for a 2.0 TSi as I have had my time with diesels.
  13. Paint is paint, I think this has been discussed to death online and the general idea is it makes no difference. If you wanted to paint your rads etc, a very fine mist would take the colour away. You wouldn't need a full coat. Otherwise drive the car more and they soon get covered in bugs and grime.
  14. Erm, is the Forge just painted black also?
  15. I'm surprised they bothered!
  16. Looks great thanks. I have not noticed a difference between sportline fog lights before? Do they just have a smaller chrome bit?
  17. Did you keep the chrome slats? Got any photos at all?
  18. Did you fit it to a standard grille? How easy was it?
  19. Thanks, I probably would get these done at a specialist actually and leave the main service for Skoda (just for service history's sake, but could also go independent for this I guess).
  20. Sounds like you are fairly local to me as well! I would probably use Skoda in Aldershot if they do servicing. I'm aware the jobs are cheap to have done, just the missed interval I was asking about really but as you say - without looking inside the gearbox there isn't a way to spot any issues!
  21. I'm not sure on the services, its essentially been done yearly as opposed to the usual 18k intervals. Its the cheapest 280 I have seen for sale, so think its worth it. Just wanted to know if it was a clear cut yes/maybe/no but that is obviously for me to decide!
  22. Private sale Interval for both is around 40k Two owners before this one, I have messaged the previous on Facebook but unlikely to reply Its a 65 Plate L&K 280 Hatch, generally appears in good condition and has otherwise had all its services at Skoda Dealers with proof - one invoice mentions the DSG and Haldex is due, but the next service doesn't mention it or show costings (assuming the owner and dealer missed it).
