  1. Wow that sounds dangerous did it judder when braking? Mine seems worse from 80mph dropping to 70/60...
  2. I recently had issues with my braking the car and steering wheel juddering when braking - So front discs and pads replaced - still and issue Rear brakes and pads also replaced - juddering improved not as violent - but still there - but now check brake pads lights come on - then whole internal screen blank you can still hear music when phone connected but screen blank but also no more sensor warning light on dash for brakes??? Its starting to cost me a fortune...considering a new one either Mark II or nearly new Mark I L&K
  3. Hi All well it wasn’t the battery it was actually as was above the front right hand speed sensor and the wheel bearing…. The timing marks had been scrapped away so the garage replaced the timing sensor and the wheel bearing cleared all error codes and all is now fine with it.. thanks for all your support and suggestions very weird that a speed sensor can cause so many unrelated error codes… but that’s modern tech for you….
  4. Thanks guys, My battery replacement was a BOSCH 12V 70Ah 760A so a bit more strength than the original - I tested the voltage and its 12.57volts - and the terminals are tight on so I dont think its that and its had two 16 hour runs too and from france so should be okay?? I don't know how to code it - not sure what that is so I'll mention to the garage about it?? The main error seems to be ESC failure then tyre pressure - then all the other ping in, then as you start to drive more error codes come up ESC starts flashing and it affects the driving until that light stays on hard which is usually within the first few hundred yards. The power steering stops, stop start stops, the reverse camera stops loads and loads of errors come up TBH. Parking pilot, intelligent lights, etc etc loads that seem totally unrelated to ESC..??
  5. Hi Nigel, Thanks for the steer, I will check but I am pretty sure the battery is okay - as said, its brand new and I fitted it myself. (But I don't know what coding is - so I didn't do that) - but it did have a SW update before travelling out_ as I had driven to southern France 2 weeks prior and was 3 hours into a journey back home, so if it's the battery not charged after that, then I'd suspect the alternator or something else causing the issue? But its back in the garage this week for them to check it out so I'll let you know. Thanks Rob
  6. Thank you Docx - I had feared it was the SW update I had done 2 weeks ago , others had mentioned battery but I’ve put in a new one in Jan from Costco so I doubt it’s that. will ask garage to check it all over.
  7. What was the issue / resolution as this has happened to me in my kodiaq today travelling back from southern France - no power steering either & lots of sensor failures
  8. I have had an issue with Aircon - it doesn't blow out particularly cold but I had it regassed, but I get an issue on longer journeys 4 hours plus where it just seems to stop working - nothing blowing / circulating into the car I have had this several times in the summer, you can switch off the sircon for a while then switch back on and it'll work for a bit then stop again, the best cure iis to turn off engine then restart - but it seems like something is overheating to cause the issue? I had only ha this on A/C but it happened the other week when the heating was on the same thing and had to power off and restart engine to clear it. Apparently the garage said there's no error codes showing? Anyone else experience anything similar, I have a hunch its the sensor playing up but I have no real evidence of this? Kodiaq 4x4 Edition 2017 Diesel manual - had from new.
  9. Hi Guys, I have Skoda Kodiaq 2.0TDI Edition 2017 - the emissions / Engine light came on as above, I'd been using cheap Tesco Diesel for a while instead of V-Power which I had always previously used but its become too expensive. Called my friends garage to book it in then the light went out...? He said it might be the fuel, so I filled up with V-Power Diesel, light stayed off until I got to the end of the tank - it came on again - so I filled up again with V-Power but its remained on this time and I'm a 100 miles into the full tank now so I would have thought if it was the fuel it would've gone back out by now? I'm out of warranty so I guess its a visit to the garage to get it tested out - hopefully if it is the DPF sensor (which had gone previously on my old Occy) its a cheap and easy fix? Any other ideas? Thanks
