  1. Thanks, will look for that code.
  2. However this one appears to be for the Octavia 3 https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004696403539.html However the part code is 3VD and I saw on here that 3VO is for Octavia 3? but I'm not sure. I'm also not sure what these are like, surely someone on here has tried one
  3. I've got a FL vrs with the Amundsen system and was looking at a VC upgrade, the official ones are £1.5k but I see some on AliExpress for a lot less, though the information is bad and the codes don't seem to completely match what I see recommended here, or they do match but say it's for the superb, I don't know if the part is the same for both? Has anyone used a VC from there or bought one and realised they're rubbish? Just wondering if it is worth the risk or not.
  4. Sorry that's who I meant, they used to do heated seats but not anymore
  5. I've seen some companies that fit 3rd party but I'm looking for one that will fit OEM with full hookup to the dashboard switches and entertainment unit. East Coast Retrofits used to do it but it's not on their menu anymore.
  6. I'm trying to fit mine but can't quite get the angles right and I've given up trying. It either sits too hard on the bumper or pushed onto the back window. I know it can't be this hard. Anyone got one fitted? Can you give me the fitting numbers and maybe a photo? Thanks
  7. Did you ever find a fix for this?
  8. Thanks mate but that wasn't the issue, there was a back end issue with Skoda Connect at that time stopping new registrations that was fixed. If only we had the experience you did! Would have been a much happier customer, at the time.
  9. Mine worked great thanks @varooom
  10. @SashaGracey Did you get this fixed? Looking at adding power tailgate to my 2017FL vrs
  11. Thanks, I suppose pacc would be the same on all Skoda models
  12. No parallel or crossing roads though, made sure that wasn't the case, from @langers2kit looks like it might be map data, which is just impossible to fix Problem is I can't just ignore it when the car lurches back to 60 without any warning
  13. I don't think so, I read somewhere that once you upgrade acc to pacc you can't go back to the 'radar only' adaptive cruise control system without a recode
  14. That was my worry, I looked and there's no information on their map data or where to suggest changes if you know it's wrong. If I paid for this on a new car I'd be seriously ****ed to be honest
  15. I just wanted to know if other pacc users were having this issue, If other users weren't having the same issue then there's obviously something wrong with my car or my setup, which I would need to get looked at. Your message implied that everyone with pacc would be having the same problem as me, that's fine but I'd like someone with pacc to confirm that before I live with this issue, which basically means only using it on motorways, not great really.
  16. was asking if everyone gets this issue, if Ken is right then everyone with pacc would have this issue, which would make it unusable. Do you have pacc? Do you have this issue?
  17. No speed limit signs even close to where it's happening. It's like the map data just switches from 70 to 60 to 70, but that must mean it happens to everyone with my map data and I can't find anyone else seeing this happen
  18. But the navigation doesn't move my location, there are no roads nearby. It's not like I'm jumping all over, and it doesn't happen on motorways. Look I think you're not really helping here and if you don't either have pacc and have the same problem, or have it and don't, then just move on and let someone else reply. I'm honestly not sure why the attitude to be honest, it's been since your first comment.
  19. No parallel roads or roads even close by some of the times it happened. Do you have pacc and this happens to you as well then?
  20. Not sure you understand the problem, the speed limit of the road doesn't change from 70 to 60 to 70 within the space of 200 metres multiple times along the A1. There are no speed signs saying 60 and the map data should show it as a 70 road most of the way down. So yes, it's a surprise that the car does it, why shouldn't it be? I'll try updating maps again when I get home
  21. I thought that might be it but no, happens even when no other roads are around
  22. I've had pacc retrofitted to my 2017 FL vrs and just started really using it on long drives, on motorways it's great but on dual carriageway A roads it keeps "detecting" 60MPH then a few seconds later going back to 70, which obviously screws with the cruise control in a big way. I've had it on the A1, A43 and another one I went along today. Is this normal or do I need to get some recoding done? I updated the maps early this year belt the retrofit .
  23. Fantastic so after digging around a lot of information, Smartlink+ appears to only work on iPhones. That's not very clear, anywhere. Thanks Skoda
