  1. Many thanks Luckypants. I'm very grateful.
  2. I have got to the stage when I need to replace front and back wiper blades on my Enyaq 80 2020. I have been a fan of Bosch Aerotwin blades for many years, but have been confused when that when I search for suitable wiper blades for the Enyaq on the Halfords website. This lists a long series of blades (A864S (Twin pack), AR708U (Front), AP26U (Front), AR24U (Front), AM246S (Pair), A332H (Rear) and A282H (Rear), etc. However. When you open the next Halford webpage page for each blade there is a note stating: “This product is not suitable for your vehicle To find the one that is click here.” This takes you back to Halford’s own blades. Very cunning. Can anyone confirm which Bosch Aerotwin wiper blades will fit an Enyaq 80 2020? Many thanks.
  3. This has happened twice with my Enyaq. The last time was at the end of June when the flap locked whilst I was visiting Wales. The Skoda dealership in Swansea said "it happens a lot". Very constructive. As it was a Sunday, there were only sales staff around and no one had a clue how to resolve it. IMHO there should be an mechanical release for the flap, but there isn't. I had to be low loaded back how and a new flap and actuator had to be replaced under warranty. Not a good design and it appears to be a prevalent problem.
  4. I am about to collect my Enyaq and was wondering whether the infotainment units allows speed cameras POI to be imported as I did previously on my Kodiaq and Superb? I believe these models both had the Columbus Navigation unit. I am not sure what the navigation system is on the Enyaq. If users have managed to import the Speed Camera POI or indeed other POIs, I would be grateful so, where can you source such POIS and how do you import them? Many thanks.
  5. Many thanks to all your helpful responses. Does the Hypervolt EC Charger have a minimum charge level of 1.4kW, similar to the Zappi. Are there any chargers that integrate with solar panel output that charge at less than this amount?
  6. Hello, I am about to pick up a newish Enyaq 80 Sportline. I currently have a 4kW solar panel system that on a cloudy day will generate about 1.0 - 1.2kWhr back to the grid. I understand there is a minimum power requirement to charge an EV battery of 1.4kW. If this is correct, I will not be able to charge my car until my 'available' generation exceeds 1.4kW (solar panel output minus household usage). Is my understanding correct? Is this a Skoda imposed power limitation or the EV charger manufacturer limitation? Can either minimal power limit be reduced to allow me to charge the car battery when I am generating enough to export to the grid? I was thinking of going for a Mappi 2 charger, do other EV chargers have a lower minimum power requirement? Many thanks in anticipation.
  7. Thanks for quick reply. Mine is permanently orange/yellow whether it is is Lane Assist only or Adaptive Lane Assist.
  8. I have checked that there are no dead spiders or condensation and all looks clear. I am confident this is not the issue, as these were also checked by my local Skoda dealership. I bought the car at 6 months old and I am 100% confident that during the first month that I used the car, when it was travelling on a road/lane which has good edge road markings, the converging lines shown in Lane Assist’s instrument cluster display were both white once the car achieved 65kph. If you veered towards one edge or the road markings stopped then the respective converging line(s) went orange/yellow. Thus a white converging line indicated the Line Assist was being tracked correctly. A orange/yellow line indicated a warning - either the Line Assist was no longer tracking correctly or a steering intervention was required. When veering towards the edge, the change to an orange/yellow line coincided with the steering intervention feedback. I associate the orange/yellow as a form of visual warning, hence for the last month driving with 2 converging lines constantly being orange/yellow, other than the first 2 seconds, is disconcerting. Do other users of Lane Assist have constant orange/yellow or white converging lines in their Lane Assist’s instrument cluster display? Many thanks.
  9. When I first bought my Skoda Superb L&K, the Lane Assist’s instrument cluster display functioned as per Figure 203 in the Owner’s Manual (Page 159). See attached image: . When the Lane Assist system was active the 2 converging lines were white. If I approached a boundary line of the road or lane, the respective line would change to orange/yellow. Once the car is back in the middle of the lane, the orange/yellow line would revert back to white. The line would change to orange/yellow if the edge of the road or lane markings could not be detected. This gave visual indication the Lane Assist was active or not. The Lane Assist warning light, located at the bottom of the instrument cluster, operates correctly, ie. changes from orange/yellow to green when the Line Assist is operating (above 65kmh ?). A month ago the Lane Assist stopped functioning as it did. When I reach the required speed for the Lane Assist to operate, the Lane Assist warning light changes to green. On the instrument cluster both the converging lines change from orange/yellow to white for about 2 seconds, then revert to orange/yellow. The only time the lines are white are for the first 2 seconds when the Lane Assistance first starts to operate, eg. after slowing down or stopping. The Lane Assist warning light continues to operate correctly. The Lane Assist steering intervention appears to work, although, I sense, with less intervention than when the display was functioning correctly. The same fault occurs when I have the Adaptive Cruise Control engaged. I am driving on the same stretches of dual carriage way or motorway with good lane markings, that previously I had the white diverging lines and which are now orange/yellow. The areas that the sensors/camera necessary for the Lane Assist to function correctly are clean and the problem occurs in good weather, day and night. I have taken the car to my local Skoda dealership, who sought advice from Skoda. After carrying out various electronic and road tests have failed to diagnose and remedy the fault. They do not appear concerned as the steering intervention appears to work, but I like having the visual indication that the Lane Assist is operating correctly. Also, I find having an orange/yellow display in the instrument cluster to be distracting. So, I believe this is a safety related issue. Has anyone else experience this issue with an incorrect display of the Lane Assist and, if so, how this was resolved? I know this is a minor issue, but it is really irritating. Many thanks.
  10. I have a 2009 Skoda Superb SE L. The Columbus unit has been deemed ‘dead as a parrot’ by my local Skoda dealership. They have tried to reboot it, but the logo still comes on every 20 seconds and the unit has no functions. The replacement price for a new unit is a small mortgage, nearly £1900.00. I understand the part number of my Columbus unit is 3T00356801KB. Most of the used units on auction websites are 3T0035680K (manufactured in 2015). The replacement units come with SW5270 installed and HW: H10. So I am in a dilemma that will a newer manufactured Columbus be suitable for my 2009 car. Any thoughts? Finally any advice when buying second hand Columbus units? Many thanks
  11. Having bought a new HTC Wildfire handset on the 3 network, the Columbus system after detecting the phone and attempting to connect, states it is not compatible. Does anyone know if I have to tweak the phone or Columbus to get the phone to connect? Any help would be most gratefully received.
  12. The spec for the HTC Wildfire is Android™ 2.1 (Éclair). I understand the HTC Hero phone which has an Android OS is compatible with the Columbus GPS, however, I don't think I have seen confirmation about this or the Wildfire compatibility on this website. Thank you for responding.
  13. Does anyone know if the HTC Wildfire mobile is compatible with my Columbus radio system fitted to my 09 Superb II. Many thanks.
  14. Hi Bagpus Thank you for your response. When you say the DVD should have been included with the new car, where is this laid down? I need a suitable refernece to go back to the Skoda dealer. Regards
  15. Brimma: I totally agree with you about speeding. I try really hard not to do it. Erniem: I actually showed your post to the local dealer to support my arguement and his response was as I have stated above. I am looking for a specific reference or Skoda statement as to whether the DVD is part of the Columbus system.
