  1. Many thanks for your response. I ordered the Sportline 85X yesterday. 😀 I need fast charging than my 2021 Enyaq Sportline iV 80. Now just waiting along with many others. 🤨
  2. Hi Stonekeeper Many thanks for the update. Hopefully the charging rate for the Sportline 85 is the same as the 85 or 85X Coupe.
  3. Many thanks for all the info on charging rates. My question still remains, what is the spec for the charging power of a new Enyaq Sportline 85 - is it 135kW (as stated on the Skoda build your own webpage), or 175kW? Many thanks.
  4. The 28 mins 10% - 80% comes from Skoda's own Škoda Electric Car Charging Speed Calculator | Škoda UK. I too cannot believe the time stated by Skoda with a max charge of 135kW.
  5. Sad that it is, I do watch it. The 65kW charge was when the battery was at 10%, it was 25C, I had been driving for over an hour prior to starting the charge, the charging station had 10 x 350kW chargers and there was no other car being charged. So I guess that would be perfect charging conditions. I take part in EV car rallies both in UK and abroad, I I see how slow my charging is compared to others, eg. Kia, Mercedes, BYD, etc. Charging speed is the driver for me to buy a new Skoda Sportline but I need confirmation that the max charging power is 175kW.
  6. Hi Evolution13, Yes it had the major software update, but this did little to improve the charging power. My local Skoda dealer also investigated and nothing untoward was found. The charging curve sent by Stonekeeper indicates the peak DC speed is 135kW. At https://evkx.net/models/skoda/enyaq_iv/ the Skoda Enyaq 85x is shown as a max charging of 175kW. Is this the charging rate for new Enyaq Sportline 85 coming off the production line?
  7. I have a Enyaq iV Sportline 80 (Sep 2021) and the max charging power that I have every experienced is about 65kW. This was on a long run in Spain at 25C using a newly installed 350kW charging station with no other cars charging. I believe the car’s max charging power is 125kW. This link (https://skodamedia.com/releases/1458) leads me to believe that the updated Škoda ENYAQ 85, 85x, and vRS models (2024 onwards) feature a maximum DC fast-charging power of 175 kW. The same is applicable to the ELROQ. However, when I use the Škoda website’s ‘Build your own Škoda’ both the ENYAQ and ELROQ are listed as having a max DC charging power of 135kW. Is anyone able to confirm what the max charging power is of both ENYAQ and ELROQ coming off the production line now? If it is 175kW, then the ‘Build your own Škoda’ section needs updating. What are users of ENYAQ Sportline 85 2024 model and later experiencing regarding charging power during summer months and during the winter months. Does anyone achieve the 10% - 80% charge in 28 mins as mentioned in Škoda Electric Car Charging Speed Calculator | Škoda UK? Many thanks.
  8. I have a Enyaq Sportline iV80 which was first registered in November 2021. Most of the time, I charge from a Zappi home charger without any issues. When away, I have never had a DC charging rate of more than 65kW, normally it is in the high 50kW., This despite using new 300kW chargers, in warm temperatures (2- - 25C), 20% battery charge level, with no other cars using the charging station and I assume my car battery was prepared as I have a pre-heater and had been driving for 90 mins. The car has been into my local dealership .on a number of occasions and they cannot find a charging fault. Skoda UK keep producing the standard reasons you do not get the stated charging speed: eg. ambient temperature, other EVs charging at the same time, charge state of the EV battery, throttling by the charging station owner, etc. The fact remains that my Enyaq does not charge anywhere close to the 120kW max charge. I took part in the London – Brighton – Paris – Geneva EV car rally and saw other EVs charging at 100+ kW. My Enyaq's charging rate is nowhere close to the maximum charging speed. Some questions: What charging speed do other owners get for a 2021 Enyaq Sportline iV80? Has anyone seen an official Skoda Charging curve for the iV80? I have read about the early iV80 having an option to increase the charging speed. Does anyone have details of this? I was told at the time of purchase by the Skoda dealership that the max charging speed was 120kW, so I can only assume this option was fitted. Did the ME3.o update increase the charging speed to 130kW? Whilst the car is in for another warranty repair, I have a new Enyaq as a courtesy car. This has a battery optimisation option on the charging menu, which my Enyaq does not have. Is there a software update, that will add this function to my car? Is there a way to see the EV battery temperature via the infotainment system? How can you check if the pre-heater is operating correctly and is there any way to switch this off for short journeys? Is anyone aware of a legal class action, similar to Dieselgate, for EVs not charging as fast as advertised? I am tempted to find an independent engineer who can charge the car at 10%, 20%, 30% et, using a calibrated charger, in a known ambient temperature and then challenge Skoda UK. I apologise for so many questions, but Skoda UK still have not replied to emails sent via my local dealership (who have been as helpful as they can) regarding slow charging. All very frustrating and tempting me to move away from Skoda after 20 years of great cars and service from them. Answer will help me to decide my next course of action.
  9. Many thanks Luckypants. I'm very grateful.
  10. I have got to the stage when I need to replace front and back wiper blades on my Enyaq 80 2020. I have been a fan of Bosch Aerotwin blades for many years, but have been confused when that when I search for suitable wiper blades for the Enyaq on the Halfords website. This lists a long series of blades (A864S (Twin pack), AR708U (Front), AP26U (Front), AR24U (Front), AM246S (Pair), A332H (Rear) and A282H (Rear), etc. However. When you open the next Halford webpage page for each blade there is a note stating: “This product is not suitable for your vehicle To find the one that is click here.” This takes you back to Halford’s own blades. Very cunning. Can anyone confirm which Bosch Aerotwin wiper blades will fit an Enyaq 80 2020? Many thanks.
  11. Badger49 replied to Anglosaxon's topic in Skoda Enyaq
This has happened twice with my Enyaq. The last time was at the end of June when the flap locked whilst I was visiting Wales. The Skoda dealership in Swansea said "it happens a lot". Very constructive. As it was a Sunday, there were only sales staff around and no one had a clue how to resolve it. IMHO there should be an mechanical release for the flap, but there isn't. I had to be low loaded back how and a new flap and actuator had to be replaced under warranty. Not a good design and it appears to be a prevalent problem.
  12. I am about to collect my Enyaq and was wondering whether the infotainment units allows speed cameras POI to be imported as I did previously on my Kodiaq and Superb? I believe these models both had the Columbus Navigation unit. I am not sure what the navigation system is on the Enyaq. If users have managed to import the Speed Camera POI or indeed other POIs, I would be grateful so, where can you source such POIS and how do you import them? Many thanks.
  13. Many thanks to all your helpful responses. Does the Hypervolt EC Charger have a minimum charge level of 1.4kW, similar to the Zappi. Are there any chargers that integrate with solar panel output that charge at less than this amount?
  14. Hello, I am about to pick up a newish Enyaq 80 Sportline. I currently have a 4kW solar panel system that on a cloudy day will generate about 1.0 - 1.2kWhr back to the grid. I understand there is a minimum power requirement to charge an EV battery of 1.4kW. If this is correct, I will not be able to charge my car until my 'available' generation exceeds 1.4kW (solar panel output minus household usage). Is my understanding correct? Is this a Skoda imposed power limitation or the EV charger manufacturer limitation? Can either minimal power limit be reduced to allow me to charge the car battery when I am generating enough to export to the grid? I was thinking of going for a Mappi 2 charger, do other EV chargers have a lower minimum power requirement? Many thanks in anticipation.
