I'm looking for info on the adaptions lists for the kodaiq. Unfortunately long coding help doesn't work for a lot of the modules, does anyone have any info on how I can read them? i.e. is there a method to read with my VCDS. It seems that either VAG have gotten better at blocking them or else the module are newer and rosstech haven't decoded all of them yet. Anyway any help would be appreciated and I'm willing to upload/post what I get from it up here. FYI here's the autoscan for the modules in case anyone is interested... Just to put you at ease djordje48, I am 198cm and I went to see one on Thursday with my wife who has now ordered it. I sat in drivers seat, plenty of space, and set it up for me. I then got out and was able to comfortably sit in the rear seat behind it!! Very impressed As for the 7 seater, absolutely nothing chance of us fitting in the back row seats.

There's a function called teardrop wipe which is the extra wipe it does a few seconds after clearing the screen of the washer fluid. Is that what you mean? If so it can be deactivated on the rear, possibly on the front too, you'd have to do a search for it though as I've not found it yet.

I saw the rain sensor one earlier. Just didn't get around to it. I have the light sensor so supposedly I should have rain too but we'll see! Don't think I'd do the rain closing setting for the windows. While the windows should have the pinch and open setting I'd not trust it with a 3 year old in the car Thanks for the idea on the comfort indicators. I'll try that out in the morning

Ah that makes sense with the CC both the scirocco and octavia were petrol. Why don't diesels do that? Irish cars never get a good spec, i've the top spec and that doesn't include an alarm. I had mirror tilt on my 2010 scirocco without memory seats, it didn"t even have electric seats, so i'll keep trying that one. I've read on an vag forum that the licence plate bit worked....but that was an american forums ;-) I'm an engineer, always have tinkered with things whether i was meant to or not. I enjoy doing it, if you don't you don't. Doesn't bother me like it should bother you! :-)

Well the ABS brake assist adjust to "high" (i.e. harder) has worked. Brakes are noticeably better now. Well unless the placebo effect is working on high One other cool change I made is to have the heated seat turn on with the ignition and to remember its previous setting. It always annoyed me that when I got out of the car at the shops/petrol station etc. in the morning when its cold and got back in the heated seats wouldn't go back on to their previous setting. So here's how to do it..... 08-Auto HVAC Adaptation Retention of Driver's seat heater level Set On/Active One other thing, the LED licence plate bulbs are on the CANBUS now I believe...they weren't in older cars. I found an option that might take them off CANBUS?? 9-Cent Elec Coding Long Coding Byte 23 Bit 6 (Lamp Monitoring (Cold) Licence Plate Lamps active) Anyone know that one? Will try it myself in a while. I have the philips LED licence plate bulbs. Last thing was that the... Reverse mirror tilt: 52 - Door Elect, Pass. Long Coding Byte 4 If the byte has value 40 (cars without electrically folding mirrors) change it to 4C Well I can't see any coding on this module, its all blank says module coding unknown or something like that. I did find 09 - Cent Elec Coding Long Coding Byte 4 Bit 3 (Mirror Lowering with Reverse Rear) This enables an option(checkbox) on the maxidot for enabling lowering of the mirror. Did this but its not working. Have the mirror adjustment knob on the passenger side too as its needed on some other models, again didn't work. I also remember on some other models that the position has to be set up? Anyone any ideas?

Well I connected up the first one on the drivers side and got a warning so I switched the yellow wire with the brown wire and the bulb warning went out. I had read here that it didn't seem to matter but?? Anyway they're all working and more importantly the DRLs aren't a feeble yellow light anymore

Well I started to put these in today.... Did the sidelights first, handy enough. Then the H7's easy enough though the metal clamp holding it in was very very stiff on the passenger side and access is pretty tight due to the battery/fuse box. Then onto the fogs, easy enough. And then the DRLs. The access is tight so I removed them without trying to unclip the plug like it says in the manual. Just rotated the lot and took the bulb out when removed. So the leds don't exactly fit the slot in the light housing, they tend to "float" about a bit. I found the yellow wire on the resistor pack should got to the black cable numbered 2 on the bulb connector and the brown goes to number 1. I then put the bulbs in and twisted as well as I could before then putting the connector back on. I just stuffed all the wiring in behind, loads of room in there, and put the caps back on. Everything works well and very happy with the quality of the light now I'll put a pick or 2 when I get a chance.

Even though I paid it off straight away if she'd spotted the amount I'd be brown bread. See I got all my other lights ready to go just waiting on these and I'll do it all in one go.

How long did it take for people to get their benzinfabrik led lights to arrive? I got an email from them on the 16th saying they were dispatched (no tracking number included) and I still haven't received them?
