Sfs supersize TIP (w8 performance please read!)
Phil-W replied to Scott_28's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk I (1996-2004)
What sort of discount? They are £110 or £120 (will check) delivered from R-Tech... /edit - Clive pipped me to it -
Sounds like water pump or possibly Thermostat stuck closed...
-
Scotch locks are probably the easiest way?
-
Love the look of the PH2's. Certainly wouldn't go any older than that unless it was a minty mint MK2 SXi/SRi/GTE! Owned a couple of XE'd MK3 Astras in the past, lovely engine.
-
If I was going back to an old-ish Vauxhall it would be a Vectra GSi
-
I thought about getting these and removing the Skoda filter.. http://bit.ly/1bOSfkm

Well.. That's it now! I've considered my options on where to go next with the car and the answer is... No where. I've spent as much as I want to spend on the car now, aside from maintenance I've spent my lot on the Red Baron. I'll be keeping her another 18 months or so and then changing/upgrading
-
Red TDI one is softer than the yellow one Bowders1, that's why I opted for it as I've read lots of story's regarding the yellow one. Probably got it tightened up too much, if it's the same after 4-500 miles take it back off and loosen the centre bolt off a bit as others have said
-
Not for me, the noise grooved discs make is horrendous.
-
Ah, just wondered as when I was looking Prosports were the cheapest vRS coilovers available, good job as some research on here fed back plenty of good reviews
-
Do the cheap JOM kits come with the ARB brackets on them? I'd consider Prosports as an alternative?
-
Looks good I think. Isn't *quite* flush with the curve of the bumper underneath, plan is to bolt at either end and the middle and where there's a bit of an air gap underneath use washers as spacers. Must have moved a little bit as we propped it up! Verdict and 42's are in. Slop has gone especially left to right, feels good changing gear, reasonably heavy but it feels quite 'weighted' now
-
No plans as such at the moment, need to wait at least for the 2014 dates to be released which is January-ish. At the moment it's more of a 'who's up for it?' thread...

They are my new anti-static strips
-
Maybe today's jobs...
-
Just 1 nut built into the sensor. Once you get it nipped loose you will be able to get it undone by hand. Just make sure you unplug it first and you will be fine
-
It's really not a bad job fella. 10mins with an adjustable spanner
-
That's the one but there are variations!
-
My brothers got one so that's the rarity gone as soon as we get together. One other knocking around the town we live in as far as I know.
-
There's no pre-load adjustment on the Prosports. Here's my vRS with them fitted, very happy so far
-
If Clive doesn't fix it I have a spare one sat here...
-
Haven't voted for myself, not that shameless.

You need a H4 Bi-Xenon (Hi/Lo) kit, preferably 5000k or lower!
