  1. Put my VIN number in - not listed - how strange ! Work was done today by the dealer, apparently a minor headlight adjustment, done within 30 minutes of my arrival. Called 'a free product enhancement' - is that just another name for a recall or not ? Who knows, however it's been done, not that I noticed anything wrong in the first place.
  2. Just received a recorded delivery letter from my dealer, obviously prompted by Skoda uk saying: ' We have discovered that your vehicle requires a free product enhancement that needs to be carried out. We would like to perform this measure asap, please ring and make an appointment.... or contact any Skoda authorised repairer....' On enquiry the recall apparently concerns headlight adjustments which should take well under an hour to complete. My new SE delivered last October has been booked in for next Wednesday. Anyone else received this recall ?
  3. Yes, I ordered a new SE (5 seats) - lots of options added - on the 2nd June, under Skoda UK's then 'special offer' - which soon disappeared ! Build week 19th July, left Czech 29th August, arrived at the dealer 30th September, collected it 11th October. Delighted with the vehicle. My last three cars have been Superb L & K Estates, but as I get older I fancied a Kodiaq. The dealer told me that of the 30 or so Skoda vehicles ordered for stock, showroom and waiting customers, only mine had arrived !! Not a new car in sight.
  4. Ordered a facelift ES on the 3rd June and was later given this week (can't believe it) as the build week by the dealer. This was later confirmed in an email from Skoda UK - still can't believe it. However, I won't be holding my breath...!
  5. Looked yesterday and the New Kodiaq Configurator with prices is up and running on Skoda UK website, but no catalogue or finance offers yet.
  6. Owing to a printing error on an earlier SUK spec list for my new S3 which indicated TSR was part of the L&K spec - and isn't, can it be retro-fitted and if so, how? SUK say no, and don't want to know - small print re errors etc.
  7. Ordered my new L & K 150 diesel estate 8th August Week 32, recently heard through the weekly updates from my dealer that the build week is currently week 45 early November !
  8. Many thanks for your helpful suggestions. I always have the L & K Estate. I am waiting for the Model Year 19 version to appear on the Configurator which should be around week 31 - end of July, beginning of August, as for various reasons the MY start is 10 weeks later than usual. Then I'll be able to see and check the new trim and spec (and the new prices !!)
  9. Having seen both Emerald Green and Velvet Red in the showroom both on Karoq's, I can't decide which would look best on a new Superb Estate I'll be ordering soon. I think I'd also choose a beige interior as it looked great on both. Anyone any thoughts on the matter?
  10. I see that velvet red metallic now costs £900 extra to order. What's so special about this colour and finish? Is it really worth it?
  11. Had to have my heated front screen replaced. Autoglass could not supply, so the dealer ordered a genuine Skoda one and had it fitted. Autoglass, at the time could not re-calibrate the camera either, so this was done by the dealer. The actual cost of the screen and recalibration was mega! I was provided with a courtesy car by the dealer whilst it was done. All agreed through Skoda Insurance with just me having to pay £50 and no penalties.
  12. In the Czech S3 Accessories catalogue the bumper protector 3V9 061 195 is pictured as some sort of silver/grey thick solid plastic item with ribs.
