Hello people, I have another question for your vast wisdomess minds. My rear near side passenger door has decided to lock itself and wont open from the inside or outside I have no knowledge in this area what so ever, the only thing I would attemp to do is remove the trim and have a go from the inside of the door but being as the door is closed I cant remove the trim! If any of you have experienced this problem or have any tips at all i would much appreciate it. Thanks.

Hi, Im wondering if anyone has come across this problem before? I have just finished installing a new head unit door speakers and sub in my octavia however the sub is all connected up properly and seems to be working ok yet I cannot control its volume ect through the head unit like I should be able to. I was led to beleive this is down to the remote cable being connected wrongly but I cant see anywhere else for it to go. If its any use the head unit is a sony Sony MEXBT3800U and a vibe cbr 1300 sub Thanks.

Oh and I forgot to mention. I find that the standard unit has some kind of safety volume limit that wont increase the volume no matter how far i turn the knob after it thinks its loud enough. this irritates me and I would like to know if i can turn it off? If not i guess that would still affect how far i could turn the volume up if i put in new speakers which could handle more volume.

Hello, the time has come to upgrade the sound system in my Octavia mk1 cos im fed up with the below par quality. Im mostly wondering about the head unit and if its worth keeping it installed. I prefer the look of the standard unit obviously cos its flush with the rest of the car but Im wondering if its powerfull enough to run a decent set of speakers and a sub. Im also wondering if I can even link up a sub to the standard head unit anyway. Also the 6 disc changer in the boot only plays the cds IT wants to play not the cds I want to play! So i guess im just wondering what set ups u lot have in ur Octavia 1ns and if u have any good recomendations?? Cheers!

Hi all, I quite fancy a central armrest for my Octavia 1. I was just wondering if anyone has already got one? reccomendations? I dont want some cheap looking thing stuck in there and I would like it to match the interior (Vrs) Many thanks.

When my PS3 popped its clogs I took it to a place called Hayling Internet on Hayling Island, Dont know if thats anywhere near you but it was the only place that did it near me. I shouldnt be advertising them really as they didnt do much good for my PS3, they had it for nearly a week before deciding it was unrepairable, though they didnt charge me and the bloke was nice enough. I ended up sending mine back to sony and paying £120 for a "re-manufactured" one.

Played the beta when it was on the Ps store, I didnt like it at first but once you get put with a good team its brilliant so give it a good chance. I might pick it up myself this weekend if I get the chance.
