Bugger, thanks for that. Hopefully someone will find one as it's really annoying me now

This is really getting on my wick now,it seems Skoda have made a change so the drive mode resets to normal after the ignition is switched off. Car is a MY19, my wife's MY18 doesn't do this.
I don't suppose anyone with VCDS etc could take a look on their car to see if it's something we can change back again?
Thanks for any help!

The one I went for is MY19, not sure when it came into the UK to be honest

Well I've gone for it! The only options I would have specc'd would have been folding mirrors, front parking sensors and heated front seats. All of which I can retrofit if I really want to, paid a shade under £21k for it (Inc deposit contribution) so I'm pretty pleased with that deal!
No why the hell did I brim the 60 odd litre tank on my 5er the day before I made the decision! Idiot!

Thanks for the replies, thinking of getting rid of the 5er as I'll be £100 better off on PCP payments, its the SE model so isn't exactly sporty in anyway and it's a big old barge. I'd be quite happy to keep it but I'm tempted by this.
The 5er has got some negative equity which I'd be rolling into the Octavia PCP but this is still £100 a month cheaper than keeping the 5er, I haven't included this in the £20k price that's just the price of the Octavia if that makes sense?
The car is ex showroom but we bought my wife's VRs from the same garage as an ex showroom demo, I'm still not sure how it's so cheap and you're right I can't match, or get anywhere near, to the price on any of the comparison sites!

Hi all,
I have the opportunity to purchase a new, unregistered diesel VRs Hatch from a Skoda main dealer for around £20k (including the finance incentive).
Perfect you would think as it'll save me around £100 a month PCP payment, but I'm currently driving a 2017 BMW 520 with a few options added and the VRs has zero options, my mileage is around 18-20k a year but I've recently changed jobs and no longer need the space the 5 series gives me. My wife has a VRs 245 already so I know what I'd be getting and if it had a few options such as heated seats, folding mirrors and front parking sensors I'd have probably already done the deal.
Something is holding me back but I don't really know wha, well I do the lack of options, it's a very fortunate position to be in I just need help! I'm thinking of asking for the folding mirror parts at cost price to them and I'll sort them myself

Just to confirm this can be used with petrol engines.

I wouldn't have thought it would make a difference but can check if required. Mine was a diesel.

This is the double sided boot mat with carpet on one side and a thick, sturdy rubber on the other (has 'Rapid' moulded into the rubber) It was purchased for a 2012 Rapid Hatchback but I've been using it in my MKIII Octavia Hatch for a few months now and it's a pretty good fit.
Collection only from Glossop, nr Manchester as it doesn't bend or fold enough for postage.

DTUK Pedal Box Plus, only 2 months old and only selling as I purchased a new car. Bought it to fit my MKIII Octavia VRs but the fitting guide states VAG so it should fit all VAG cars, I can take a picture of the connection just to make sure if needed.
It took me less than 5 minutes to fit and about 60 seconds to remove!
I know I'll be bias but this box really transforms the car, I took the box off when I took it in for part exchange and I couldn't believe the difference, it felt so sluggish after removal. I didn't find it affected my mpg either after fitting it.
This is the new Plus box that looks much better than the old one. RRP is £199 on this, looking for £150 posted.

I fitted one a few weeks ago, it completely removed the 'dead' travel in the accelerator pedal. I've got it set on sport plus 2 and it's great. Took less than 5 minutes to fit.
My only complaint is that I'm getting a new car in a few weeks....long story! I keep meaning to ring Andrew to see if I can get it to fit the new car.

I still have it Karl if you want it? Was just about to post it on DW, hate to throw something like this away.

Guess it's going in the bin then

Hi all,
I have a flight type case that I don't need, originally came with my Mitchell and King wax. It's the same as the one below but has an extra couple of cutouts. Obviously just the case, no products included.

Hi Andy.... on the wheel brush; i do highly recomment the EZ wheel brush - but at £20.... thats expensive.
So i opted for the cheaper AutoRae-chem version. Link below.
So far so good - fropped a few bristles first wash but has calmed down.

Cheers. Looked at those before but slightly nervous they'd be too harsh and also spray water everywhere due to the stiffer bristles?

Thanks for the comments guys!
It was a good day - tested out the new CG grit guards, a new foam lance and new wheel brush too
What's the new wheel brush? Been looking out for one for a while now but can't quite decide what I want Using Dooka wheel mitt at the moment, it's good but I could do with it being slightly bigger without being wash mitt size.

Just ordered 3 of the Apple. Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks for the replies. Just want to make sure I stay in the right side if the law.

Where does it say upto and including? Everything I've seen says upto 3500 for a B whereas it only seems to say including when it's talking about the BE which doesn't make sense logically. Just want to make sure I have everything 100% correct shoukd the worst happen!

Looking at adding power fold mirrors to my facelift, have you got the part numbers for the module you sourced and cost?
I wish you'd stop doing mods as it gives me ideas!
