    Yes this is the one. I took the car to him. He removed it and reinstalled it in front of me. Amazing how quick. Just send him a message to ask when he’s available. It was the Oldham one but as you located further South I can’t comment on the Birmingham one.

    See gentleman on eBay who repairs squibs /clock springs located in Oldham or Birmingham. Only takes about an hour. Only just had it done so hoping to repost if still going in 6months time.
  3. There is a proper nice gentleman based in Oldham (and Birmingham) on eBay who I’d recommend who repairs the original clock spring for 150 incl labour. Hence no need for reprogramming and includes resetting codes. Just had mine done (took roughly an hour). I really want to post in 6months time to give it a true test that it’s still working when the MOT is due. Watch this space. Clock spring repaired vin 5k0953569e. 5K0.953.569.E
