I picked mine up today. car was charged by the dealer and showed 35 miles. My drive home was 26 and I drove on battery all the time. about 25% of the time I was in 20 mph zones last 4 miles I was able to do 50-70 and at the end of the the journey I had 2 miles left. i am keen to understand the peels and regen as I could get M showing but then it went back to D

Hello. Just picked up my pre reg SE L. Playing around with the 'cockpit' layout I see there is an option for Background, but there are no background showing. Am I missing something.

Good evening, I was not planning on buying a new car, but I am bored of what I have, and have always loved my Octavia's, (I have had 3 and done over 125k miles in them) so been looking the last couple of days, and today I found a pre reg SE Technology 1.4 TSI iV at the most amazing price. I have had a plug in before, but it was a Merc and it only did 11 miles on a charge, and it had a 2 litre engine, so cost more than expected to run. My plan is not to go full electric, but this car seems to have the best of both worlds as it looks to be as economical running it all the time on fuel and an added benefit is when I can charge it. I am not sure I can get a charger at home as I would need to change my fuse board (as it is full) So, I need to pay a deposit, but as the car is pre-reg I cant get it until March. Please tell me the goods and the bads of this car as they only have a couple left, and I don't want to lose it. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for this. taking it back tomorrow Taking the car to kwik fit just to make sure it is the battery, and then buying a new one. (Not from kwik fit!!)

Will it make much difference. My mum drives 3 or 4 miles at a time

It was very very cold when she tried, and she hadnt given it much driving between her home, and ours. After i gave it a good run it has been starting better, but still not right. New Battery from euro car parts was on offer £56.00

My mum has a 2015 Fabia and has been having battery wanting lights for the past few weeks. She has shown me that sometimes it can take 2/3 attempts to start the car, and I have seen it myself. I took the car out for a good run on Saturday and had an error message both on the dash (three letters) and a stop start error. The car has done 15,000 miles in this time. I have bought a new battery, and am going to get a friendly local garage to fit.
