I had this once. Was very scarey, but luckily only for a few moments. (It was in my old octy) It was worse when I was doing 70, and then the ACC went down to 10mph (I think it must have seen a motorway roadworks sign)

I am sure the border of the dials never used to be red. It’s a really bold colour and I want blue or purple Any ideas

I took delivery of my 2023 Karoq 8 weeks ago and it only came with one key. The dealer ordered a new one which I got last week (unfortunately they didn’t programme it so the car now has to go back in) Lucky they agreed to supply the key FOC

Look at a bank loan as interest rates are lower (don’t do a car loan) Use one of the Conpassion sites Look at a 3rd party warranty that covers the same as a ŠKODA warranty, Get your figures and then maybe make ŠKODA an offer. You should be in a good position as the car should be worth more than your balloon balance as your mileage is lower (maybe get a quote to sell on motorway) as that might be an incentive to change

Hi, I have a 2022 sportline that I collected a couple of weeks ago. It is supposed to have a heated windscreen and I wondered that as it is now almost summer (!!) how I make sure the screen is either original or is a replacement that is still heated. On some cars you can see the elements but I can see any on this screen Thanks

the car is lovely. It was my 4th Octavia, had L&K's, and this was up there. The battery issue (12v) was an annoyance more than anything that stopped me from using the car, so sometimes not being able to preheat, or not being able to use keyless. It is not as bad as the HV issues some (including me) have. This was my second Phev (first was a merc c350e about 10 years ago) and it will be my last. It is great if you are doing a 10m round trip, looking at the MPG which shows 300mpg, but knowing that it is only costing you a couple of pounds. It is when you are on the motorway. A 200 mile trip will show mid to high 60's, but unlikely it is cost effective to charge (45/55p+ is more expensive than petrol) so on my journey home I would only get early 50's. My Karoq is only giving me 35mpg around town and 42 ish on motorways, so it is costing more, but at the moment i am not bothered. The 12v battery I believe is a standard battery, but if I were you, I would ask for the full history of the car. Not the service history, but a workshop history. It will show all the faults, updates etc. Without that I personally would go for the 1.0 or 1.5 and not the Phev.

No, it’s not, but make sure you have a full Škoda warranty on it. My car and back to a dealer in south London, but they told me that they are the ones who re sell it. If they could have found the issue I would never have rejected it, so feel sorry for whoever does buy it

Auto hold on seems to be the only way that when you switch off the ignition the handbrake goes on. Now just to remember to put it in park (my octy did that automatically but this does not )

Good morning Iis it possible to set the handbrake to come on when I switch the ignition off. I am used to auto handbrakes in other Skodas and as my drive is on a slope, and although I put it in park, I just wondered if there was an easy way to set it to do this automatically Thanks

Weirdly not a sad moment when I handed the keys back to the dealer After 15 months, I finally managed to get Skoda to agree my vehicle rejection for the 12v battery issue Having logged every time it happened since the beginning of the year (26) one battery change less than a month ago and then the dealer reporting 19 further issues I am now the owner of a 2 1/2 year old Karoq sportline

Good afternoon. Took delivery of my 2022 sportline today. Having come out of a 2023 Octavia I was expecting to be able to plug my dashcam into a usb socket in the mirror, but I don’t have one. Just wondering, without having it hard wired, where to people plug theirs into for power??

Good morning. Having had issues for the last 12 months, about 3 weeks ago the dealer finally changed the 12v battery. On Saturday I had the dreaded 12v issue again Anyone with an IV have the same thing where the problem reoccurs after a new battery. Told the supplying dealer I want to re instigate the rejection process (even though the car is now 14 months old) as Skoda as a brand have had enough chances to sort

Correct. Unfortunately once the 12v battery issue shows, once you drive the car the fault disappears and does not show again as a fault. Skoda will only change under warranty if the fault is seen by them. Mad I know!!!

Car has been at the dealership since Tuesday. They were told quite clearly I would not be picking the car up unless they changed something Just had a call. Having run the diagnostics through their very expensive computers, the technician this morning used at standard volt meter, and found an issue straight away. After 12 months of issues, today they changed the 12v battery
