Boardman frames aren't designed atall, they are chosen from a catalogue. cheapest possible frame, high spec. some friends of mine have bought their bikes, and swapped out the frames, getting a fairly decent groupset and a decent frame in the end. Jake

clearly you know nothing about the cycle trade then economies of scale only apply when you rule out people being greedy! it just further proves my point Examples: Severed Alliance Cotic Singular cycles ON-ONE Sabbath Genesis Saracen (not the halfords specials, the UK designed bikes) to name a few. if you wonder why you should listen to me, I work for Madison. Shimano's distributor. feel free to quiz me over anything Jake

you'll be paying an obscene amount just to have any of those names written on your frame. go for the unknown niché brand, better specs, smarter designs and something a bit different from the norm. Jake

I talk about push bikes all day, it's a hard life! Jake

right, that makes more sense. the symphony is pretty useless in general. Jake -

I'll try that, pressing TP again doesn't help sadly. cheers mate Jake -
hey guys, accidentally pressed TP on and now it won't listen to my cd without interupting to tell me about things I would rather not know. https://mediaportal.skoda-auto.com/resource/documentation/manuals/en/Olders/Fabia/Radio/A04_Fabia_Symphony_CarRadio.pdf I've read that cover to cover, tells me how to turn it on, but not off! anyone else had this happen? help me! cheers Jake

I'm debating whether to wait and go straight to stage two, but me and my brother have been toying with the idea of an MX-5 track car, so it might remain standard! but a cheeky ride would be greatly appreciated! see you three-ish Jake

Cliff, as much as I'd like to accept that, it's way off what I need. nearer £700 would be a much better offer. Jake

Cliff, what did you have left over? I'm thinking about engine bay and padding the front one out so it's sit's inline with the grill, not below it! Jake -

having never owned an octy, I couldn't say, but I had the same issue with the Fabia's spoiler, in the end, I opted for this model, which was high enough to clear the roof spoiler and not damage the car when fitted. http://www.madison.co.uk/productinfo.aspx?vertical=Cycling&tier1=Transport%2c+Storage+%26+Car+Racks&tier2=Rear+Mounted+Clip-on+Carriers&catref=TH9103 the only issues arise when people put bikes on without thinking, handlebars, pedals and mechs can hit the car if improperly placed, but if you think about how they go on logically, it's a no brainer hope this helps, Jake
