The car has 120k miles. I had my timing belt changed but the mechanic didn't time it properly. After arguing with him that the car doesn't sound right ,he checked it and timed it properly. I drove the car for about 500 miles before. After he looked at it the car drove fine no noises. After about 8000miles I had the oil changed and since then its making this noise. I have had the car for a few months. I have changed oil again a couple.of.days ago. Thanks for the reply.

Hi I have a 2018 seat leon 1.6 tdi same engine as octavia,their is a rattle on acceleration when cold. It goes away when warm but their is a slight rattle still not as bad. The rattle is underload. Hi Iam thinking of buying a seat leon,it has 130 on clock and its 67 plate. Took it for a test drive drove fine no.problems. The radiator fan was running ,it didn't go off when the car was running also stayed on after turning off. Is this normal. Thanks

Thanks everybody who tried to help,took the car to a different mechanic. He found that a vacuum pipe had come off ,at the back of the engine. It was underneath,he put another one on and car has been spit on. Thanks again to everybody.

No I'm just replying,havent you got anything positive to say.im having problems and someone like you is talking negatively rather than saying anything positive. By the looks of thing you seem to.be a negative person.

Thanks for that, I have had it rescanned again ,same faults pop up. On the 2nd page of the scan it says something about the turbo. The thing is once it's warmed if turn it off a few times the lights goes out ,I can drive the light won't come on again until I turn it off,even then it might not come on again. Until its cold. We have checked the wastewater actuator that's working,my mechanic took the vacuum pipe off whilst on the it's goes up and down. Thanks

Hi I changed my oil pressure sensor in my last post,because I had a low oil pressure light in the mornings turns out to be faulty aftermarket switch. I change it myself because my mechanic was too busy. Once I put it on ,I turned the engine on with out the intake connected to the turbo to see if there was any leaks. After that my glow plug flashes,sometimes if I turn the car on and off a few times it goes out and I can dry it without it coming until I turn it off. I went to an auto electrician who turned the lights off and said something about turbo settings he changed. I think he just ripped me off . The lights is back on again. The dpf has been removed and remapped. Thanks.

I have changed the oil pressure hopefully its that just started it after a few hours no low oil pressure light came on. Unfortunately glow plug light is on and ups gone into limp mode. I gave had the glow plug taken off,the fault was something to do with the turbocharger. Really getting annoyed now, The fuse didn't blow. Thanks

Thanks the orange low level has gone out. But still low oil pressure light comes on when cold.

I'm seeing red in the morning and oil level all the time.

The fuse was blown ,changed it but no luck. Thanks

Thanks bighorn Sorry I have a 62 plate superb with cfgb engine. I put on a new sump sensor my mechanic wired it up,but the orange low level and sensor light are on. Also in the morning the red low I'll pressure comes on then it goes out when oil is a bit warm. I can drive it all day without light coming on. Before the snow everything was fine. . Thanks

Iam going to take tje sump off tomorrow, Are the pumps shafts a common fault,should I get them changed also forgot to mention I changed the oil pressure switch which I bought from euro carparts. Since I changed the switch thus happened. If the switch was faulty wouldn't the oil pressure light stay on all time. Might change it to dealer part. Any thoughts sorry for the long rant. Thanks

Hi Iam getting low oil pressure in mornings. Last week in the snow my sump sensor came off. Since then iam getting low oil pressure in the mornings,once warmed no warnings signs. It's the red sign. Car has 388k miles ,could it be the oil pump. Engine runs fine when warm. is it a hard job to change oil pump,my.mechanic was saying its belt driven. Thanks Tee

That's low mileage, just get it serviced. Mine did 386k miles.

I bought a dsg gearbox with the code ppx and put it in my car,and my car is running even though the code is different. Only thing is that in manual mode it doesn't show which gear it's in on the dash. Otherwise it's running just done 200miles in it last night.
