Today, I was unplesenty suprised with coolant leak. My motor is 2.5 tdi v6, does anyone have any idea what can it be? It leaks really good. Especially when its cold. It flows down oil container, but cant see from where exactly. Did anyone had same or similar problem?!

Hello boys and girls(if any), my old sup stil thanks God going strong. As matter of fact, Im thinking upgrading her and thats why I post this topic. Can someone of you who had mk1 edition 100 confirm to me that his superb had OEM sunshades on rear windshield?(I dont know better term to use in english). I have oportunity to buy one from scrape edition 100 in my country but cant go for that part because its really long and he tells me its OEM 100%. I just cant confirm that with pictures he send me, so Im wondering if somene(had edition 100 wich is much more common in UK, than in Serbia. It would be nice to know. I dont want to install aftermarket pieces(trying to stay OEM as possible as I can). Thanks and cheers. UPDATE! Changed coolant temp sensor(green one with facet green) and backflushed heater, now got same heat like I had. I dont know will this fix be permanent, but I guess will see...cheers

Ok, I need to regular service my Sup in next few days..and I tought I could solve problem with her as Ive lost heating this winter. Not long ago(before winter tough my mechanic did big general service). I bought high quality parts..and all went well. At least I tought so. First thing I did was flush heating matrix and that went well. I got heating but not as hot and strong like it was. And that didnt last for long. Today, I re read many topics with similar problems, and I tought I could test it and feel both hose are really hot. So it may seems like heater isnt clodged. Also I saw somewhere owner of audi s4 had similar problem but I cant find it..if I remember correctly he said he had problems with termostat. And on this forum member rotodiesel said if hoses are hot that problem is with flap motor and dash need to come out. I would like to make sure that it is really case and not to tear it appart and find it something else is problem. I would like to POINT OUT that my Sup need longer time(than usually) to heat up and also temp needle goes back to zero and imidiatly goes back up. Does this have some kind of connection between no heat? Someone said it could be coolant temp sensor or something similar. What would you do, and from where to start?

Hello friends! My girl still going strong, I dont want to separete from her, so I have finaly found leather seats with memory and heaters. In next few days I will try to retrofit all this, but first I want to ask if anybode knows 1.) How to find out are my leather seats black or grey? I need to repair front seat and I cant decide is it grey or black and I dont want to buy 2 colours and one to use and other to go to trash. 2.) Also my Sup didnt had folding rear seat(mk1 2003) but now I have bought this leather seats from 2004 model so will I have this function? It could use to me a lot. Will I need some kind part to make it work, or just swap seats and thats it?

Ok will try them, in my country price for them 20euros. I think its ok price if they are really soo good.

Hello members, I wanted to ask what brand of wipers are good to buy? I didnt had luck with OEM from VW, and if remember correctly I did change just blades, Im not sure if that is possible right now. Did they sell just blades? What are your thoughts about longitivity of wiper blades? Mine are 2 years old, and just left blade squik(they clean good tough).
