Skoda Fabia Service / Workshop manual
brian245 replied to MagicMaciek's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk III (2014-2021)
I have the Haynes 'on line' digital manual and to be quite honest, it is pretty useless. They have not dismantled a car and detailed throughly what one would like to know. It is just a generic description and in my opinion, misleading in some of the details as some 'instructions' simply do not equate with my car. At best, it is a guide and nothing more. I was quite disappointed with it if you have not already guessed. -
Škoda Fabia MK3 2016 – weird rattling sound
brian245 replied to Boki02's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk III (2014-2021)
Fuse box cover can give an annoying plastic rattle -

That is the correct one but they do not post to NZ. Ebay would not let me buy that because of the non shipping to NZ even though I could have used a third party shipping service although the freight cost of that would render it uneconomic. Might be time to buy some foam -

I do not want the tools, only the foam block. If they are 'often' for sale Mr Google does not appear know -
Does anyone have lying about and surplus to requirements, the moulded foam insert for the spare wheel well when there is NO spare wheel?

Time for an update of mine........Eibach springs, Bilstein B8 dampers, Whiteline ARB, DTM 17x7.5 wheels
-
Depending which wheel design it has, it could be 6 inch or 7 inch. Either width can take your 195/50 which is compatible with rim widths from 5.5-7 inch. Personally, I would stick with the original size.

Hi, Is anyone running these and was the change worthwhile? I see that the caster is increased by only ¾° and wondered if, for so small an increase, it was worth the effort. The kit I was looking at is Whiteline I think, Powerflex do have an adjustable camber kit but I do not want to increase that for purely road use.

I tried each of them once and then decided to carrry on driving the car myself.

Sorry, I meant which hole did you use in the Fabia or did you put this on hardest as on the Scirocco also?
-
That is what I wanted to hear.............currently on order. What setting did you use for the drop links?
-
Thank you

I wish I never asked this question

Thats coming i'm interested in the effect of adding the bar as well
-
Has anyone fitted a rear anti roll bar to their Fabia 3 If so, who was the manufacturer and what was the result? I have fitted a set of Eibach lowering springs but feel the car could be 'tied' down a bit more yet. Any comments and advice appreciated.

Mine were extremely tight and when I eventually got one out, the clip was badly distorted and of course broke in half the moment I attempted to straighten it. I wrapped the rear of the lamp with tape to hold it back in place and ordered a pair of LED replacements from aliexpress at which time I will remove the other one.
