I'm having mine delivered by Rainworth Skoda on Wednesday at 8.30, I cannot wait to get my hands on it, ordered end of August, and I have to agree about the perspective of a brand, that was the only thing that was putting me off, the badge, but I'm glad I went for it in the end and ignored the 'badge snobbery'!!!

Mine is coming from Grimsby, but since posting earlier, I have called my dealer and mine isn't on any of the 3 lorries coming to them today, so I'll see it sometime in the New Year now, only waited 19 weeks already so it'll be 21/22 weeks by the time I get it from order!!! Does anyone know if compensation is available after so many weeks???

Snap!!! Hopefully mine is at the dealers today as they have 3 transporters turning up according to them yesterday morning. Fingers crossed.

By the sound of what your saying I've done well to get mine out of Grimsby, it landed end of last week and it'll be at the dealer tomorrow, hopefully pick it up Saturday or Monday. Hope you get yours soon!!!

I ordered mine on August 26th and it's still in Emden according to my dealer and my anticipated delivery date is Monday 20th. Everything is crossed to get it before Christmas!!!

I'd check with your dealer again as 2 vehicle carriers arrived at Grimsby from Emden over the weekend. Unfortunately, mine wasn't on either of them, everyhting crossed for my delivery date 2 weeks today!!!

Update from Skoda this morning, my car is at Emden waiting to be shipped, bit of a surprise when I didn't think it was being built until this week, but they moved it forward by a week. Might see it before Christmas now!!!

Been into my dealer today as my car is being built next week and wanted to know when I could expect to see it, only to be told there's at least a week backlog of cars at Emden because of the inclement weather so the ferries aren't sailing, so I've been told I've got a slim chance of seeing it before Christmas.

It's through a lease company so I'll expect to see it some time in January then!!!

Had confirmation that mine is scheduled for build week 49 (w/c 29/11/10), anyone know when I could expect delivery???

Placed my order 26th August, original delivery date was 22nd November, now gone out to 17th December!!!

Ordered mine 26th August, original delivery date was 17th November, but now gone out to 17th December, so not holding my breath to see it much before the New Year.

Reading this, I can't wait for December 17th when mine is due to arrive, very jealous!!!
