  1. When my MY27 arrived it had to be updated by the dealer and they had to disconnect the battery for an hour before they could proceed. That will need you to perform the steering angle reset after reconnection though.
  2. Sure is, it's probably just a "procurement" thing?
  3. My MY26 VRS had the 84kWh battery, now my new MY27 VRS has the 82kWh which is the opposite
  4. Can't help exactly but my current Elroq, my 2nd one, does have some kind of vibration from the front end that the 1st one did not. It only occurs when the AC in running, so maybe the compressor or the motor that drives it is the cause and somehow it's even worse in yours? Just a thought, to help narrow it down maybe?
  5. I wish there was, I still got mine to fit
  6. "Classic" Thanks for the pic, I shall not worry about the missing nut now. I don't have heat pump either so that bolt with the nut missing could well be the point they connect it too? My extra relay & 50A fuse maybe for my heated screen, that'll take a bit of juice?
  7. Thanks for the tip but none of the fuse boxes match my Elroq one. I would be very grateful if another Elroq owner would pop the bonnet open and take a sneaky look and see if they too have a missing nut not? Just trying to avoid driving 50 miles to the dealer to look at another Elroq myself. Fingers crossed it's the same as mine
  8. its not mentioned in the book, it may be wrong or just an unused fitting, I need to know what other peoples Elroqs'look like to know, but your right it does look wrong. Maybe something is supposed to bolt to it, but its not fitted to my car??
  9. Hi All Need a favor please, today I was mucking about planning an audio upgrade and I took a look in the fuse box that sits to the right of the battery under the bonnet. There appears to be what looks like an 80A fuse to the left of the box. It seems to be missing a nut on the 10mm threaded post. Would some kind soul please take a look in there fuse box and confirm?
  10. Both these items have now found a well deserved home
  11. Reg the screen, "if" you find it a bit too dark in the winter you can take it out and stash it in the garage, the very reason I kept the box 😉
  12. A couple of things that my previous Superb could never do, is being able to put the AC on before you use the car and then being able to leave it on when you park up and go the shops. Don't sound much but "how nice" that was today.
  13. See you Sunday, at least it'll be cooler
  14. Heading for the bin sometime soon ☹️
  15. I thought the 84 battery was only used for the VRS? and even that has been changed to the 82 for MY27 production, I assume for standardisation reasons? I'm no expert but that's how it appears to me, here in the UK Even if they are different it's only going to make a 5 mile difference to range so just get the best deal
  16. One is the reversable boot floor, carpet one side and a sort of plastic the other. Both items are in great condition too Second is a rear sun screen, it's a mesh material in a metal frame that you clip inside the hatch window, it keeps out a ton of heat and you can take it out for winter, you can't see into the car also. My 280 had tinted side windows but the rear glass was not done. Both are huge and would be prohibitively awkward to post. If you want either you WILL need to come to Swindon. They are free, of course a donation of draught Guinness tins are always welcome 😇, but no charge for a cuppa or coffee. I'd rather someone make use of them than just throw them I assume you can message me on here for details
  17. I did not replace the Canton sub, I added an additional larger Pioneer one, the Canton one stayed where it was and still functioned normally
  18. I added an additional sub for deeper lows, that was removed, the Canton one goes with the car and I'm almost certain "my" sub will end up the Elroq. Us bass players like to hear each other
  19. You know your tyres 😄, "yes" GY Vector 4 Seasons Gen 3's
  20. Sub was hooked up to both the feeds that connect to the OEM sub, connecting to the "speaker" level inputs on my sub. Standard sub has a dual coil woofer so one coil feeds the left IP, the other connects to the right, works perfectly. The original sub works as normal too.
  21. I assume you referring to these satin bronze beauties? I guess I'll have to shift them on the Bay, they will probably look too small on an Elroq, it will require 55 profiles on the front and the Elroq has wider 9" rears too making an 8" rim a bit small for 255's, all a bit of a shame as I love the look of these JR's, they never look dirty too. Elroq VRS incoming.
  22. All back to standard spec again, my lovely alloys taken off and original wheels back on, sub removed, spare wheel removed, rear window blind removed and all my junk taken out, there was an awful lot of that. She being PX'ed next week, a new Skoda will be incoming. It's not a Superb 280 so I guess I will be introducing myself to another section? This one should be up for sale in Newbury, Skoda for way more than they gave me no doubt, but I got a good "overall" deal so not complaining. The bronze JR alloys will not fit the new car, that is a blow, but not a deal breaker. So if anyone is looking for a nice Dec2023 280, this is it, not a mark on her, and only 2500 miles (low due to illness) Sort of saying goodbye to this thread but I'll keep on eye on it still, I'm sure?
  23. All back to standard again, original wheels back on, sub removed, spare wheel removed, rear window blind removed and all my junk taken out, there was an awful lot of that. She going "bye bye's" next week, new Skoda incoming so if anyone wants any of the take-offs you better shout, as I'll be moving to another section. I will be loosing the "cooled" seats & heated screen but gaining a HUD and a massaging seat. This one should be up for sale in Newbury, Skoda for way more than they gave me no doubt, but I got a good "overall" deal so not complaining. So if anyone is looking for a nice Dec2023, 280, this is it, not a mark on her, and only 2500 miles (low due to illness)
