Superb - looks awesome!

Had the throttle pedal unit changed today by Specialist Cars Skoda in Dundee and can report it's sorted the issue - back to smooth tickover and smooth gear changes. Happy days!

Just searching the forums and found this thread. Mine has the same issue (07 Plate Fabia vRS SE). Sometimes drops back on it's own other times not. Found if I put my toe under the throttle pedal and lift it, the revs drop back immediately. Could this be a throttle pot issue?
Any ideas would be most welcome.

How about Skoda Ice Hockey Championship and Skoda Media Services??
Media services is good and you can get the IRC rally app too to see how the motorsport team is doing.

Run? That's why I bought a car - LMAO

-11 near St Andrews tonight :(
-
Drove my Mrs to her work tonight - Snowing heavily again in N. E. Fife. Cupar is an absolute nightmare!! Main street is worse than some of the back roads.
Have to say the Fabia with it's winter boots is impressing the hell out of me
Didn't get stuck even though it was quite bad in places. Thankfully not deep snow though. Sky looks full of it though :(

Same here - another 4" overnight :(
-
Had much the same day Glad to be a softie - LOL
-
Not snowing here (yet) but forecast to hit -14 tonight :(

I can understand the delays in that area - we're a week behind deliveries into us at work. Even Grangemouth docks was shut for three days - containers we needed were apparently frozen in position and could not be lifted!!!! Madness!
They should have communicated better with you though.

Heatwave here today...+4 degrees!!
-
Still got loads of snow and I am managing where other FWD's are getting stuck - The need for winter tyres is a no brainer for me!
The thing people forget is that they are not just for snow. Before this winter wonderland, I got the chance to see what they were like in heavy rain, standing water, etc. - brilliant!
I am converted now so quite happy to be a softie!
-
We heard that in work too - missed deliveries due to Lorries with frozen diesel.
-
another 3-4" of snow with us yesterday but happily managed to avoid the worst of teh carnage on teh roads.
-18c this morning and already down to -17 at 7pm tonight.
I hope you weren't on the M8!!! What a mess that was!
-7 here at the moment and no more snow today (thankfully). Anyone else heard that North East / Scotland are to get hit bad again next week? :S

I too have a mate in Sweden who drives a Fabia VRS...but on studded winter tyres. As stated, it's law over there.
-
That's a bummer - probably better getting them delivered to your home and then taking them to the fitters yourself.
-
Nice to see other racers on here. I used to race 1/10th off roads in Somerset (TRAK) and Devon (TRCCC) but then gave it up when I moved up North. Recently got back into it in the shape of Mardave V12 oval racing which is great fun!!
Back to thread - I paint my own but not that good (lack patience).
-
And the moral is - a big factor in these conditions is how you drive!
-
Latex is in a world shortage as we use it in work for coldseals - price gone up month on moth due to demand outstripping capacity. Will affect tyres also.:(
-
Cant afford driving without winters, so I am a softie.
(doing 5000km a month)
But loving the Quattro traction in combination with the winter tyres. (Oops, quattro AND winters makes me more than a softie )
I miss quattro drive but am pleased how well the Fabia is doing on winters

Had about another inch this afternoon up here

You will have to keep us updated on the order, as there seem to be a few people having problems with orders from 'MyTyres'.
ReallY? Got mine within 5 days as they promised. Were most helpful
PD160 Intake pipe.... worth it?
