  1. Guys I have had an Octavia Estate Elegance model from December 2006. On the rear of the car the badge says it is a 1.9 TDI. It is a lease vehicle and the lease company say it is a 2.0litre. Is there anyway of quickly finding out whether the vehicle is indeed 1.9 or 2.0litre? Were the terms used interchangeably? If not, was there likely to be much difference in price new between 1.9 & 2.0 litre? What would paperwork would I need to take to a Skoda dealer to get this confirmed? Anyone advise please? Lawman
  2. I have a 2007 Octavia Estate with coloured bumpers to front and rear. My son has unfortunately just nudged the front bumper on a brick wall, leaving two or three minor marks - hardly visible. The bumper is intact and rather than get a new bumper or use a restoration company, I would be keen to see if I could fill the small dents and respray. Could anyone tell me what is the likely plastic being used in the front bumper? Is it ABS or Polypropylene? Is it likely that someone like Halfords would have a plastic repair / filler kit for the plastic? Thanks in advance.
  3. Many thanks for the answer. I was quoted similarly, but it seemed a lot of money for some blemishes. Regards Lawman
