Post a pic of the front of your car, many on here will be able to tell you if it's a pre FL or FL 👍

This happened to me when I replaced the batteries in both keys fobs not long after purchase.
I had to synchronise both key fobs one by one.
From p57 of the manual:
Synchronising the remote control
If the buttons on the remote control key have been operated several times beyond the effective range of the system or the battery in the remote control key has been replaced and the vehicle cannot be unlocked using the remote control, the key must be synchronised.
› Press any button on the remote control key.
› Unlock the door with the key in the lock cylinder within 1 minute of pressing the button.- 4

@Jonboy984 Take a look at the list above, you can see where your FW is on the list.
To update or not is a choice, they get provided to fix bugs, but they never give a direct clear list to us mere mortals.
Thanks @varooom I guess I have no issues or bugs so probably nothing to gain by updating then.

Apologies, missed that. Thanks as ever @MartiniB

Will the VW files work on the Columbus or do we have to wait until they are available in the Skoda portal?
Apologies if I am asking the obvious 😀

So TMC isn't working again. It stopped working this time last year only to start working again a few weeks later.
I use it every day on the way to work to decide which motorway junction to get off and dependant on traffic can save 10 minutes by coming off early and using the A roads.
I find TMC accurate in around 95% of journeys. Google maps is 100% accurate but I often forget to plug my phone in and when I do remember, I then forget to unplug it when I get to work.
Wishful thinking that TMC may start working again so it may be time for me to invest in an android auto wireless module.

As previously indicated - it would've been nice if a 3rd option could b selected with mode button, to have regular cruise control.
This is exactly what I was hoping for when I started this thread ☹️

What is it you don’t like about ACC just out of interest?
The only thing that I don’t like is when you pull out to overtake it takes a while to pick up speed.
In the driver mode you can customise “normal” to have the ACC as Sport, but I always forget to try it out whenever I go on the motorway.
So if your reason for not liking it is that give that a try, unless someone else on here has theirs set to Sport and can confirm or deny whether that resolves the sluggishness
I don't dislike ACC, I travelled 2000 plus miles to the south of France and back last year and it was in the main much better than conventional CC.
I have however struggled to get used to ACC when commuting on a day to day basis for many of the reasons already mentioned here.
I would ideally like the ability to select ACC when I want and select CC at other times hence asking is it possible to code standard cruise control in to a 2017 pre FL Superb to toggle between ACC, CC and the speed limiter?
-
Following on from a discussion in a different thread, is it possible to code standard cruise control in to a 2017 pre facelift Superb therefore having three options, ACC, CC and speed limiter?
After 2 years I still can't get used to my ACC and yearn for the older style CC like in my old mk2 Octavia vRS.
Thanks in advance.
What have you done to your Superb III today?

I bought some from Ebay and they looked good but were ever so slightly too small.
They initially fitted and looked good but one worked loose pretty quickly and disappeared when on a long drive on the motorway.
I ended up buying a set of new OE which fitted perfectly and are still on the car.
