It is possible to do it by yourself. Just find the firmware online and put on a usb stick. Let the system install it for you. No problem at all. 😀 It is out there

For your car you have 1806. So let them update of Update it for yourself. It solves a lot of issues:

Mirror dip won't possible with recoding on any 2020 models. Facelift don't have 2 rear fog lights. This are a differend unit/wiring

No longer possible i think i tryed it myself to and with VCP and VCDS. The Eyelashes are controlled with the module's in the headlights and no longer with the 09 module. There is no channel any more. I think the headlight unit is also canbus now wich wil controled on a differend way then before
