It tends to leak inside the boot, near the cd changer. Or it could leaking down inside the boot lid.

Gendan or Illexa are two of the UK sellers. There is a full list on the Ross Tech website. Hex + Can lead will cover most cars.

  3. trundlenut's post in 2006 hand brake cables - both the same? was marked as the answer
They will both be the same. Not sure on the size though. I have a spare at home somewhere.
I had problems getting the old cable out of the guide tube. Ended up cutting the cable and Drilling out the end from the tube.

  5. trundlenut's post in Let the 150, See the Fabia. was marked as the answer
No because the engine has come out of a different car, there is no guarantee that the mountings are the same. The exhaust manifold/turbo etc. could foul on the fabia bulkhead, the exhaust positioning may be different.

With the driveshafts that's assuming the gearbox is the same, you have two different sets of suspension etc. to deal with.

You would need the registered version of VCDS lite together with a cheap cable (£20 or less from eBay) to activate CC. Or there is a list of people on here who have full VCDS who could help you. Look in the diagnostics/VCDS forum on here.

  11. trundlenut's post in Oil Spec and Service Interval was marked as the answer
You have a dpf, the oil must be 507.00, 505.00 or .01 is no good. Doesn't matter who makes it must meet the VW spec.
You can also find out whether it is on fixed or variable serving with VCDS and when it was last serviced.
