  1. Has any one got access to vcds at all? Engine management light is on. I don’t have any ideas why! im in Wellingborough. idealy Wellingborough or Northampton area !
  2. Ive had mine done. Mine's the 2 liter diesel. Makes teh car a lot nicer to drive in my opinion. Had mine done at phantom tuneing in bedford. Try these guys: www.darksidedevelopments.co.uk

  4. Got the octivia mk3 Got ebc discs and ebc yellow stuff pads on the front and page discs and brembo pads on the back. Was hopeing to have ebc yellow pads and discs all round!
  5. Mines regerstered in 2019 and has the bag in the coolant if that counts.
  6. has any one had problem in getting after market brakes for there cars at all? Ive asked the garage i use to supply and fit ebc brake pads front and rear. Fronts have gone on no problems at all. How ever the rears are the problem. They managed to get the right sized disc but they were saying where the wheel bolts on to the disc that part is to small! Any one had any problems at all?

  9. I'd go to the dealer. It shouldnt cost that much. I'd contact your local dealer to make sure theyve got one on the shelf first to avoid an wasted jurnery
  10. I normally get mine from a motorfactors. I shove the hole lot in as and when required.
  11. For me it's the 2 liter with a manual box. No the dsg¬ In my opinion the car could be a lot bigger considering the amount of stuff i carry when im at work

  13. Bit of a long shot but try a uv die. Then have a look with a uv lamp. It might help pin point where the leek is.
  14. If your car has an egr valve it might be leaking from there. Is there any evendence of coolant mixing with the engine oil at all?
  15. Morning all. Not skoda related but......... Ive been looking into changeing the steel wheels on my girlfriends vw polo from steel wheel to alloy wheels. The steel wheels have 4 studs. Idealyly i want to change them to alloy wheels with 4 stud. It the 2001 model. Is there anything i need to do on the car at all?
  16. Im running a nextbase dshcam. Cant remember the model but i cant fault it.
  17. Has any one managed to fit the brake low warning sensor and wireing to there car at all? Mine dont have any of the wireing or sensors at all!
  18. Has any one changed the brakes on there car at all by them selfs? Im thinking about doing the front discs and pads and rear pads and discs. Does the rear pads need to be wind in at all?
  19. Some one on here might know. Front fog lights on the octavia. They h7? i can’t remember off the top of my head.
  20. Not sure. The car was standing at the time with the engine running. One of the lads I’m works with heard it as well from his car and he had the windows up at the time. The noise went in time with the engine. Ie I reved the engine and the strange noise went with it !
  21. Here’s one for you lot. My car made a very strange noise while at work. The best way to describe it it sounds like a metal scrapeing against plastic. Drive down the road and it cleared it self. The engine now sounds normal again. It’s the 2 litre diesel and a 19 plate. Any one got any ideas at all ?

  23. Does any one know the size of the brake disc size for the 2 liter diesel at all? Mine has the dsg box with the 2 liter diesel non vrs engine.
