Heres a bit of a challange for you guys. Im looking at replaceing the engine on my other halfs car. Shes got a vw polo 1 liter on a y reg. Car is bot 20 odd year old. Does any one know what engine is used in the skoda range at all that used the same engine in the polo? It also runs on petrol.

Here’s one for you guys. sat nav isn’t showing where I am currently. photos show what’s on the map and in the real world. any one got any suggestions on how to sort it ? it was working correctly when I left home. the 2nd photo is ferry bridge services on thr a1. The 1st photo is showing some where else !

Got that error on the car radio. I can only watch a dvd for bout 40 minutes then it freezes. Any one got any ideas why it does it ?

Any one know how long be it a main dealer or an indie to change the cam belt and water pump?

Mines the keyless entry. Was able to lock and unlock the car and have side lights. Ended up having to get my father in law to have a poke round with i. 1 broken fuse. Was still being a bum. Pressed the start button expecting to see all the lights but still nothing. Ended up using the internet - put the key by the start / stop button then had every thing ! Least the car starts now !

got it sorted guy. Panic over. Car was being a total bum wipe!

Just put a new battery on the car. Now got no ignition lights what so evea. Any one got any ideas ?

if i remember rightly think it set me back a good couple of hundred quid. It did take a good few months to come in as its comes in from germany.

Ive got a westfalia on mine. Didnt come with the swan neck but the rest of it was there. Managed to get teh swan neck from an agent in northampton.

Mines down the same. Where did you get teh sensor from ?

no. i swapp them round from time to time.

As far as im aware both tyres are at the correct pressure and got no sagging at all on both sides. Both springs seem ok though.

Any one know what’s causing the rear wheels to go out of alignment? its the 4x4 model. the photo with the tyre thats got no tread on the inside is off the right hand side while the other tyre with a little bit of tread left is of the left hand

Can led lights be retofitted to the supberb at all? Ive changed from the octivia to teh supberb; headlights on mine are bit like candles!

I'd find an vag specilist or go down the independent route and get there opinion.

Had all of mine replaced just after Christmas. Bout £500 ish at the garage i use all thr time.
