  3. Morning all. im picking up a superb on Saturday. its the 4x4 model. is there anything to keep an eye on or any common faults that happen ? im moveing from the octivia to the supberb so im familiar with skoda !

  5. Has any one returned there car on finance to the local dealer at all? I'm looking at the real possabilty of doing that at the moment. I had a towbar fitted by the local skoda dealer in northampton. Would they be able to remove it at all and would there be any costs involved in it's removal along with the electrics? On the subject of tow bars would the tow bar of the octivia fit another model ie: The skoda superb?
  6. With the ban on "new" diesel and petrol ban in a few does the vag group plan to build hydrogen powered cars along side the electric equilverent?
  7. Ive got 225/45r17 road wheels on the car. Does any one know the correct size for the space saver wheel at all?
  8. i put mine onto a usb stick managed (with out the aid of the girlfriend!) to put the logos on to the relevent stations.
  9. mines doing the same. I'll have to get the dealer to reset it again.
  10. mine does the same and ive got the 2 liter diesel. The only way i i can get round it is to brake and have a bit of pressure on the throttle at the same time,
  11. Both fronts were picked up on last years mot. Near side front was licked up on this years mot !
  12. Is it normal to have that amount of oil leak out of the shocks at all? for the record the photo is the near side front shock. Ive had a look at the off side and there’s no oil. Think it might of all leaked out ! :/ the car is a 19 plate.
  13. Ive had the temp gauge on hi and sync. The car has already been in for a different fault but got the dealer to sort it which they did! It's only recently it stopped again!
  14. Mines still under warranty. Does any one know if the heater matrix is covered at all ? Dont really fancy forking out a grand to get it sorted !
  15. Im sure i saw he bag a while back unless im starting to go totally mad ! It doesn’t have the mit salek on the header tank.
  16. Im fairly sure it had the bag. I know what bg your on about ! The car is 2 year old. Im hopeing it’s covered by the warranty! Ive read the matrix is bout £1000 ish to sort !
  17. I tryed that. I csn hear something moving which i would hazard a guess and say that its the flap that’s moving.
  18. Anyone else havjng problems with the heater in the octivia mk3 face lifed model ? Any one got any idears ? It’s already been back to the dealers once already ! The right hand flap has cool air comeing out. The left one has hot air comeing out when the heating is set to hi. photo 1 is the right hand one. photo 2 is the left hand one.

  23. Has any one had there nox sensor changed on the octivia mk3 diesel at all? Mines gone back to the dealer for its 2nd! Is it common for them to fail so often?
  24. My father in law replaced some of thr relays. I know one of them had a crack in it. the battery on the car was knackered so he replaced that as well.
  25. Heres 1 for you guys. My parents in law's car plain refuses to start. It's got a brand new battery on it. It's also had a few relays replaced but the car still doesent want to start at all. From what ive heard the starter motor spins but the engine doesent fire. It's a 1.9 diesel on a vw passat. I kniw its not a skoda but some one out in skoda land might have a clue.
