Hayens only do manuals if the car has sold lots and then the car is up for replacement..MKII Fabia has only had a facelift!
Alot of the suspension/brakes etc is from the MKI Fabia so use a Haynes for that model to point you in the right direction...then use this forum!!!!
Not exactly the mk1 vrs is completley different to the mk2... as is the greenline mk2 as is the monti carlo and im pretty sure they changed the suspension and chassis set up on the mk2 aswel as completeley changing the electronics in and around the car

So, with no Haynes manual in print for the Fabia II and none due in the next 18 months, what does everyone use for a manual?
youll probly find they will never do a hynes manual for new car any more due to the fact that these modern cars require alot more technical training to replace parts i.e most parts now days need programming when fitting.

Fuel lasts longer in warm weather were as performance is higher in colder weather due to the air being more dense so the ECU sends more fuel into the engine to compansate the higher air mass levels picked up from air mass (flow) meter..

Working for a skoda dealership my advice would be to take it back to the dealer you brought it from and tell them you are realy concerned with any damage these may have done being on the car for 2000 miles so you want them to check the car over fully and get them to write a disclaimer stating that they were aware that these bushes had been on the vehicle for those 2000 miles and any damage caused by this will be rectified and delt with free of charge...... As with the case of your safety being at risk ide keep in contact with SKODA UK and tell them you want some sort compansation for the incompatence of a dealer reprisenting there company..... Hope this helps

A cool new option have been launched on the Superb Elegance!
Ventilated front seats are now available on Superb hatch and estate but only in Elegance trim.
£450 inc VAT.
The opposite of heated seats, this feature draws warm air through the seat base and backrest, keeping front-seat occupants cool in hot weather.
I've tried this system in other cars and it really does work very well indeed, I've already changed our next Superb demo to include this lovely new option. Looking forward to having it!
Any opinions?
so this means you cant let a sly one go in the cush and wait for the missus to catch wind of it and try desperetly to open the passanger window altough i hav locked her side! ahaha ........ instead its just gonna draw it in and get rid of it.. shame :(

So it is possible to change to S from D and vice versa whilst still on the move? Do you have to do anything else, like slow down? Just want to be doubly sure I don't knacker anything up.
yes thats fine.. the only thing i would do is when changing modes lift your foot off the accelerator change mode give it a second to let it change over and configure then put your foot back on the peddal, just to prevent any clutch slipping if the mode you change it to requires a gear change.
(you wouldnt change gear in a manual with your foot still on the accelerator peddal)

yes the reason why you can change into S mode safely is because the gear lever isn't attached to the gearbox at all its just like a big switch that tells the car how you would like to drive the car then does the actual changing of then gears using its dual clutch system.

Basicly its called part supersession.. For example every fault with a car and the part involved to fix the fault is logged by skoda in skoda dealerships so skoda look at the "common faults" and the problem parts involved. They then take these parts revise them and see wot componants they can change to improve it. They make the new and improved one in this case a coil pack and replace the old part with the new one and change the part number slightly ie the the last letter so you can tell which part is the latest one (latest supersession) hope this helps to explain lol
