How much did you pay for your winter tyres on your standard alloys. Ive had quotes for £125+ vat

There are steel wheels on ebay for £199 assuming Ill get tyres for approx £60 each so thats £440 for wheels and tyres approx. Has anyone else managed to find this setup cheaper?

Hi guys, Ive been reading numrous posts and just confussing myself even further. Here's my question can I just fit winter tyres to my standard alloys 204/40/17's or should I change to 15" steel wheels with winter tyres? Thanks in advance

Ive also got the AVH-3300BT was a pretty esay fit but a little expensive the time you buy the steering wheel adaptor and headunit to adaptor lead, fasia, aerial convertor. But the sound quailty is far better than the standard unit and love the SD slot on it. 32gb card was only £26 also the built in Parrot works really well. Ive got some vibe speaker in my old car which my father inlaw uses now I think I will take those out of there and fit into the Fabia possibly with an Amp. Give me a few and Ill let you know the results

Anyone know what size speakers are in the back doors. Poitless chaging the front unless I do the backs also

I must admit I bought the Philips bulbs also and was disapointed I as expecting them to be white like the DRLS.

I bought a Pioneer AVH-3300BT. It has a Parrot kit built into the head unit and comes with a Microphone. I've lost the MDI as a result and the car didnt have bluetooth which is the main reason I bought the head unit for the Parrot kit. I must say though the sound quality is far better than the standard unit and It has a USB port on front along with SD slot. I find the SD slot really handy has you can pick a 32GB for £28ish which saves you plugging in Ipod/Iphone and there are no cables.

There must be a crossover somewhere as I have just changed my head unit and there were only 8 cables on the back resulting in 4 speakers. But the car has 8 speakers. Usually there is a small resistor/crossover fitted to either the back of the woofer or the tweeter though. The standard speakers are really struggling with the new head unit so looks like they'll be getting changed next.

Hi Guys, First I'm new to the forum so hi everyone. I have had my Fabia vrs(2011) for 1 month now but I must say the lights are poor. Does anyone know the exact bulb types for headlights, sidelights and indicators? While I’m changing them I may as well do the indicators to silver look ones also. Also any suggestions where the best place to order them are. Thanks in advance
