  1. I had a new windscreen fitted on Wednesday, whilst I was at work. When I got home, upon checking out the work that had been done, I refitted my dash cam to the screen and turn on the ignition to check all was ok. All was ok, with the dash cam, but not the car.. Fault: Automatic Headlights. Checked the sensor from the outside all good, looked up whilst seated back in the car to see wires poking out! The black protective sheath and all the wires going to the sensor on the windscreen have been severed! I contacted Autoglass on Thursday morning, and am currently awaiting someone to call me back. My question is does anyone have a wiring diagram of where this cable runs once it goes into the headlining, as I can only feel the cables for the rear view mirror.
  2. I now believe that the whole bar is for the oil temp with the white centre line being maximum normal operating temp, which would be around 110°c . The bars on the left are the redline for oil temp. As they stay exactly the same from first starting the car to driving for a few hours. Looking at it now I feel a little stupid for not realising!
  3. The solid on the right is the current temp as it is empty then shows up at 53 degrees and increases with driving. However the lines on the left do not really change from the start.
  4. Hello, Can anyone advise what bars on the left side of the oil gauge in the sports display represent? Obviously the right side is tempurature. I thought the other might be level, but doesn't appear to be. Thank you.
  5. Thank you. Your not wrong! Still getting use to the lack of spin.
  6. It is indeed quicker, but a little more of a relaxed driving experience than the Octavia.
  7. Traded In my Rio Red Octavia VRS for this Meteor Grey 272 Superb. Absolutely Love it!!
  8. My car made a similar noise when making slow maneuvers. Turned out to be a faulty steering rack. Quoted just over £1200 but reduced to £780 as goodwill. Fortunately, I have a Skoda Extended warranty, which covered it.
  9. Rio Red also made me change from a stream of black cars.
  10. Here is mine with the black pack. I have always had black cars but this colour when clean does have some nice hues.
  11. Thank you yes it is Rio Red. I have always had black cars so this is a departure. Do like it though. Will try and get some better pics up if you wanted.
  12. Back in an Octy after a few years away from Skoda.. Got it a month ago and have to say I am loving being back in a petrol after having Diesels for so many years
  13. It's the same on the A6 no interior lights on till the door handle is pulled.
